White Sox Out to Make Life Difficult for Tigers in AL Central Race

White Sox send Sale to the mound for final time in 2014

Chicago will hand the ball to lefty ace Chris Sale for the final time this season on Wednesday night. He will look to retake the AL lead in ERA after getting roughed up by the Royals in his last start. He is 12-4 with a 2.20 ERA this year and will look to go out with a bang to finish the season. A win for the Sale and the White Sox will put a damper on the Tigers hopes at clinching the AL Central title for at least one more day.

Tigers need Verlander to round into form for playoffs

If Detroit wants to make a deep run into the playoffs, it will need Justin Verlander to return to form. He has struggled mightily this season, posting a record of 14-12 and an ERA of 4.68. He seems to always pitch well against the White Sox, recording three quality starts, all of which he lasted seven innings. A win would help the Tigers in their pursuit of a playoff spot and lower their magic number for the Central title.

We head over to on Wednesday night to place our wager for the Tigers and the White Sox from Comerica Park. We will place 10 percent of our bankroll on the White Sox and Sale as they win this game with the OVER seven total runs scored.
