Winless Sixers Take Show on the Road with Visit to Rockets Friday Night

Rockets look to increase average scoring margin tonight

Houston has the best average scoring margin in the entire NBA to begin the season, winning their games by an average of 11.1 points. Their win over the Sixers on November 3 was a tie for their lowest margin of victory of the season, winning by just 11 points. Tonight should be much different since the Sixers are coming off their worst loss in 21 years. Houston will look to win its 18th consecutive home game against an Eastern Conference team when it hosts Philadelphia tonight.

Sixers coming off horrific loss to Mavericks

Philadelphia will play just its second back-to-back of the season on Friday night and it could turn out to be much worse than their loss to the Dallas Mavericks on Thursday night. The Sixers come into this game having dropped a 123-70 decision to the Mavericks last night and it would have been the worst loss in franchise history if they had not scored the game’s final five points. Michael Carter-Williams made his season debut, scoring 19 points, but committing six turnovers.

On Friday night, the Rockets host the Sixers in what is as close to a sure bet as you will ever get in sports today. The Sixers are winless and should remain so after this contest.
