Pistol Pete was tennis’ superstar in the 1990s, winning 14 grand slams, including a record tying seven Wimbledon crowns. Opponents not only feared Sampras’ missile of a serve, but his net game is what brought him much success. The only thing missing from Sampras’ resume was a French Open title.
