A key piece for the 1983 Orioles, Boddicker was critical in the O’s run to the World Series that season. His best performance of that postseason came in the ALCS against the White Sox where he struck out 14 batters in a 4-0 Baltimore victory. Boddicker and the Orioles would go on to win the series against Chicago and then knock off the Phillies in that year’s World Series.
