Born as the Winnipeg Jets in 1979, then living as both the Phoenix and Arizona Coyotes following relocation to the desert, the playoffs are a short story for this franchise wherever they’ve called home or whatever they’ve called themselves. A trip to the conference final in 2012 was a franchise first and it was also the first time since 1987 that the team had won a playoff series.
