Known at first mainly for their animated Sharks logo that was popular with kids, there wasn’t much else that was a hit for San Jose. The Sharks didn’t reach the conference final stage of the playoffs until 2004 and got there three more times before finally advancing to the Cup final series last spring, where they were usurped in six games by the Pittsburgh Penguins.
