Crystal Palace, known as The Eagles, were formed 110 years ago, and are now a team competing in the English Premier League from their Selhurst Park home. Palace have never won the English top tier title, although they came close during the 1990-91 season when they finished in third place behind champions Arsenal and Liverpool. They also hold two unwanted records relating to relegation, one being they have been relegated from the Premier League the most (four times) and are the only team to finish fourth from bottom and still go down due to the league reducing its members from 22 to 20.
2015-16 saw Crystal Palace finish 15th in the Premier League, only five points above the drop zone, but also finish as runners-up in the FA Cup, their second such finish in the competition.
In the league, Crystal Palace won 11 of their games, drew nine, and lost 18 for an 11-18-9 record, only scoring 39 times, and conceding 51 goals.
Their away form was horrendous, and they are on a run of 11 games without a win on the road, something manager Alan Pardew needs to address immediately otherwise another long, hard-fought season is on the cards.
Pardew has once again invested heavily, mostly in attacking players, which could see Palace upset a few teams this season. While they are unlikely to challenge for honors, a top 10 finish is not out of the realms of possibility.

Crystal Palace Online Betting Tips
Crystal Palace are one of those teams that seem to baffle both pundits and their own fans. Why? Because one game they look full of potential, the next they look like they should be in at least one division lower.
A record of 11-18-9 in 2015-16 saw Crystal Palace finish 15th and only five points away from relegation. Only the three relegated teams lost more games.
Although their away form was the 13th best in the league, they are without a win in 11 games on the road, which was one of the reasons they were dragged into the relagation fight towards the end of the season.
Defensively, Crystal Palace are sound. Fifty-one goals conceded and eight clean sheets, only two on the road, saw them ranked 10th, while the 39 goals scored put them 17th in the league.
This season should be better because Palace have signed a great winder in Andros Townsend, and shored up the back with the addition of goalkeeper Steve Mandanda and defender Jason Tomkins.
Palace are +450 to be relegated, but I seriously do not think that will happen at all, but the +250 on a top half finish looks a little too short for me putting any significant bets on it happening.
If you want a long odds punt, +3300 is available on Crystal Palace finishing in the top six, but I would much rather save my money for betting on Palace in the League Cup and FA Cup because they are set up to be a superb cup side, as is evident by their FA Cup runner-up finish last season.
