Instead of offering reduced juice, BetUS sometimes offers lower lines for some events. Even without the lower lines, BetUS provides competitive odds with other sportsbooks.

  BetUS quickly responds to market changes and news and updates its odds within minutes. The sportsbook updates its odds at about the same pace as its competition.

  BetUS also updates its overnight odds every few hours, which is helpful for bettors who wager at any time of the day or night. Odds for live betting are updated very quickly. The frequency of those updates is useful for those looking for real-time information. BetUS is among the best in the game regarding how often it updates its odds.

  One thing that BetUS does differently from its competition is that it allows users to request odds for teams or individuals that are not listed. A notice at the bottom of each betting page informs the user that “All wagers have action. Others on request.” However, the request cannot be made directly from that notice or the betting page.

  One area where the frequency of updates can be troublesome is when live betting. This is not a BetUS-specific problem but industry-wide. With the live betting odds changing so frequently, I had some issues with getting bets registered before the odds changed. The site will give you a notice that the odds have changed when this happens during live betting.

  Users can see BetUS odds in three ways: American, Decimal, or Fractional Odds. The display is easy to see on each sport’s interface.

Bettors can easily see at what point the event they are interested in is regarding the action. However, there is little detail on the live betting page. For example, on a recent tennis match, the site only listed the match score and which player was serving. The set score was not displayed. All live betting wagers are displayed on the interface simultaneously for easy viewing and betting.

  BetUS has robust live betting options. One thing that could make the site’s live betting choices more attractive is if the site offered a user-customizable interface. Even though BetUS lacks that level of user interaction, the site provides one thing most of its competitors lack, and that is access to streaming video of the events in progress (where available). Bettors can also place wagers quickly and efficiently during events.

  There are no special promotions or bonuses for live betting, which could be a drawback for some users.

  The live betting process for BetUS is fairly quick. There is a slight delay in posting bets. If a bet is made while the odds are being updated, the user receives a notice and the option to either approve or deny the bet at the updated odds.

  Users should be aware that there are minimum amounts on live betting at BetUS. The minimum amount on live betting is $5.52 per bet, which is higher than some of the online sportsbetting competition.

  Like many of its competitors, BetUS has a clearly marked “Deposit” tab on the homepage, but users must do some digging to find the “payouts” section. That is under the “My Account” section. Before I could request a payout, I had to upload some documentation. The site required a current driver’s license image and an image of the credit card I deposited funds with. The required documents can be uploaded on the site, and the instructions regarding requirements are clear.
