Who Will Win The Europa League?

The fight for the Europa League hots up as we reach the Semifinals. With big hitters Manchester United coming into form at exactly the right time, will Ole Gunnar Solskjar's men seal a memorable victory for the second time in this competition, or will another challenger take the trophy?

The Favorites

Manchester United are big favorites at -190, and to the bookmakers, are in a three-horse race against Villarreal and Arsenal, with every other team of the 16 available at odds larger than +350 and +400.

Roma's pedigree in European competition does not compare to their main adversaries, however. While United has won three European Cups, Roma's only International trophy was the Inner-Cities Fairs Cup in the 1960/61 season.

Manchester United are in brilliant form, with a solid away record they'll look to dominate the second leg of this semi-final fixture against the Italians.

Olle Gunnar Solskjar may have started life at Old Trafford with a bit of a tricky spell, but he has led the Red Devils to the brink of a second-place finish in the league this season.

The Norweigan will rate the Europa League as the most important trophy as it provides a guaranteed route into the group stage of the Champions League and some Silverware to take back to Old Trafford.

For that reason, and the fact that they generally save their best form for the biggest matches, we think they are worth backing at -190 via Bovada. Here's how the first leg went for United:

The Hopefuls

Plenty of pundits rate Arsenal (+400) far too highly. The Londoners have had a real nightmare this season, finishing low down on the table and looking in really poor form.

They face Villarreal in the second leg to see if they can progress to make it an all-English final, but there's work to be done. The team will struggle to make an impact against a strong Villarreal side unless they can start changing the way they set up. They are too open and we've seen the same problems occurring time and time again for Mikel Arteta.
