Volunteers vs Sooners
Tennessee is a 3-point home favorite on Saturday night with the OVER/UNDER set at a whopping 56.5 points. Joey Aguilar passed for 396 yards and three touchdowns in a 56-34 victory over Kentucky. DeSean Bishop punched in two scores on the ground while both Chris Brazzell II and Mike Matthews registered over 100 receiving yards and a TD.
The Volunteers defense was shaky once again, allowing 34 points and 476 yards to a pedestrian UK attack. The Vols have allowed at least 24 points against every FBS opponent this season.

Oklahoma floundering
Oklahoma is coming off a 34-26 loss at home to Lane Kiffen and Ole Miss on Saturday. Paired with a 23-6 defeat to Texas in the "Red River Rivalry," that's two losses in three games for the Sooners.
After a 6-7 finish in 2024, Brent Venables could find himself on the hot seat if he can't find a way to slow down Tennessee's high-powered attack. The fourth-year head coach is just 4-8 in the SEC.
All SEC Matchup
Tennessee has a 4-1 record at home this year while Oklahoma is 2-0 on the road. The VolunteersĀ defeated Venables' club 25-15 in Norman last season, however, the Sooners have won three of the past five meetings between the two clubs.
This is just the second time in program history that Oklahoma will play at Neyland Stadium. They won their first meeting 24-21 in double overtime in 2015.
Lane Kiffin on Brent Venables saying Oklahoma has a better team than Ole Miss:
"Interesting take. That's a hot take.
"Maybe they had the better team last year, too."
"Maybe he had the better team at Oklahoma when we beat them 55-19 in the national championship."

Tennessee Volunteers vs Oklahoma Sooners Picks
John Mateer has struggled throwing the football since breaking a bone in his thumb against Auburn. But the Volunteers' defense presents the perfect opportunity for the preseason Heisman frontrunner to get back on track.
On the defensive side of the ball, Brent Venables' unit leads the SEC in pass defense, run defense and points allowed. They also lead the nation in sacks.Ā We'll take Oklahoma to cover (+3) and win outright (+135) on the road with the UNDER 56.5.
