One potential downside is Betway’s option to download software for their sportsbook. While it is not required to make an account, navigate the site, place bets, use the casino, etc., it does prompt the user to download the specific app from the mobile site via a drop-down pop-up. This is not a bad thing in a vacuum; it just makes the experience unnecessarily confusing. We would rather see them have a standstill header section labeled “Download our app!” or something so that potential customers don’t think they must install it.

There are no limits on the types of bets you can place at Betway. They offer everything from single-event moneylines, spreads and over/under odds to futures, props, live odds and parlays. 

What’s more, Betway’s bet slip makes it easy to keep track of your prospective wagers and payouts. As soon as you select a line, it will be added to your receipt, on which you can check out how much your bet could yield. We find their betslip to be particularly useful for parlay and if/then bettors. You can not only select your bet type with a single click, but you get to review which lines and events you’ve already added while scrolling through the rest of the site so you don’t have to double-back or accidentally try to add the same bet type twice.

Equally important, Betway will notify you if the odds on a live-betting line you’ve selected has changed since you added it to your slip. They will alert you before you try to submit your ticket, which is great if you plan to poke around all of their other betting lines before pushing your live wager through.

Still, it should be offered as a separate navigation page rather than automatic prompt to avoid any confusion.

Overall, though, we give the Betway casino the same stamp of approval we award to their mobile sportsbook.
