Saturday, January 14th, brings a boxing match between two fighters still relatively new to the sport as British Youtube sensation KSI steps in the ring with FaZe Temperrr clash at OVO Arena in London. KSI was initially supposed to fight MMA standout Dillon Danis after months and months of talking trash to one another. But weeks before the bout, Danis backed out, and KSI had to find a new opponent. KSI, who made his boxing debut in 2018, is a massive favorite for this fight at -1250 odds. Temperrr comes back at +700. While celebrity boxing matches aren't always taken seriously by fans, the location is a prime indicator that Saturday's encounter is no joke.

Everyone wanted to see KSI take on Danis after their long-time beef. And once he bailed last minute, there was a list of boxers who wanted to face the Englishman. KSI ultimately chose FaZe Temperrr. KSI initially made his mark in the social media world. He now boasts 12.4 million Instagram subscribers and more than 16 million on YouTube. The 29-year-old also makes music. When it comes to boxing, he fought as an amateur four years ago, taking down Joe Weller. Later in 2018, he locked horns with Logan Paul in Manchester, settling for a draw. Not long after that, both were elevated to pros and stepped into the Staples Center as KSI settled for a split decision. He didn't return to the ring until 2022, beating Swarmz and Luis Alcaraz Pineda - all in a night's work. Having knocked out both fighters, KSI comes into Saturday with tons of momentum and the home crowd behind him. It's no wonder he's such a heavy favorite to come out victorious.

FaZe Temperrr, real name Thomas Oliviera, was born in Brazil and rose to fame through his high-level abilities playing Call of Duty, with led to him eventually finding the FaZe Clan. When it comes to boxing, he doesn't have a whole lot of experience. Temperrr has fought three times, including two exhibitions and one pro fight in his most recent bout, where he knocked out Overtflow. That gives Oliviera some much-needed momentum for Saturday. He'll need it. KSI is the best opponent he's yet to face. He's got a lot more experience. One advantage Temperrr, however is his size. He's 6 foot 4, while KSI is just 6 feet. That should be seen as positive for Oliviera's chances in this matchup, despite limited fights under his belt.

It isn't easy to side with Temperrr here. Sure, being taller and having a longer reach is great, but KSI has been doing this for a while now. He's arguably one of the best Youtube boxers in the game, up there with the Paul Brothers. The moneyline obviously offers little value at -1250. That's why I'm looking at KSI to win via knockout. There's yet to be any odds dropped for that specific bet at BetOnline, but keep an eye out for it.
