There hasn't quite been that same sense of urgency in Florida, but you've got to assume that if prediction markets take a hit in the state, it means more people will rely on the Hard Rock app to place their sports bets. That fact alone feels like a big win for DeSantis and The Seminole Tribe.

"There are still related lawsuits pending across the country, and legal experts believe the matter will ultimately be settled by the Supreme Court," CNN wrote in a new piece. "But Friday’s ruling from the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals is the largest courtroom victory to date for the states as they seek to regulate prediction sites."
