The top tennis players in the world make their way to London, England for the upcoming Wimbledon 2025 tournament at the All England Club, as Carlos Alcaraz looks to defend the title he claimed in 2024.
The Spaniard defeated Novak Djokovic in the final in straight sets last year, and comes into this tournament in excellent form as he looks to defend his crown. But he'll have stiff competition from the likes of world number one Jannik Sinner once more, in what will surely be an exciting tournament.

Jannik Sinner - (+150)
The world number one and bookies favorite for success at Wimbledon this year, Sinner has had a fine return to form since serving a ban for doping violations earlier this year.
After missing three months of action, Sinner returned to action in Rome where he reached the final, before then turning in stellar performances at Roland Garros to reach the final of the French Open. There he took a 2-0 lead against Alcaraz, and had three Championship points, but fell victim to one of the greatest comebacks of all time and lost.
Since then, he was also beaten by Alexander Bublik in the last 16 of the ATP Halle, but that is only his third defeat of the calendar year in 22 matches. Grass is one of his preferred surfaces, and he comes into the competition well-rested and in good shape.
Sinner has never won Wimbledon, and his best performance came in 2023 when he reached the semi-finals. In 2024, he reached the quarter-finals.
A first victory at the All England Club would certainly not be a surprise, but the value on offer is too low to back him considering his previous performances and the form of some of his rivals coming into this tournament.

Carlos Alcaraz - (+160)
The reigning champion at Wimbledon and the most in-form player in the world right now, Alcaraz is looking to go back-to-back while making it four tournament wins in a row in the process.
Before the aforementioned sensational victory in the French Open, Alcaraz was successful in the ATP Rome Masters, and now has also claimed victory at Queens, the traditional warm-up tournament for Wimbledon. Prior to that, he also reached the final in Barcelona and won the Monte Carlo Masters, making it 22 victories in his last 23 matches.
Now a five-time Grand Slam champion, Alcaraz has won the last two editions of Wimbledon and has victories over all of his closest rivals on the biggest stage in recent times. The last man to win Wimbledon in three consecutive years was Roger Federer (five times between 2003 and 2007), while Djokovic previously won four in a row (2018, 2019, 2021 and 2022), although the tournament wasn't held in 2020.
While odds of +160 aren't the strongest, he is by far the best candidate to back in this market, considering his history and form. The fact that he isn't the favorite is quite simply bonkers. Take it while you can, because it will shorten considerably.

Novak Djokovic - (+600)
Arguably the best tennis player of all time, Djokovic is now beginning to see his powers on a tennis court dwindle after more than a decade of dominance at the top of the game.
The 24-time Grand Slam champion has won Wimbledon an incredible seven times, while he has also reached the final in the last six tournaments. But there is no question he simply isn't quite as good as he was even a year ago, and as a result Djokovic can be found at +600 to win the tournament again.
Now ranked number six in the world, Djokovic hasn't played since the French Open where he lost in the semi-finals. But prior to that he was successful at ATP Geneva, his only tournament win of the year.
Wimbledon is without a doubt his favorite tournament, and grass is his best surface. But injuries have been catching up to him in recent months and without some luck from those around him it's difficult to see how he can claim a win.
With that said, however, there wouldn't be a single person in the world surprised if Djokovic went all the way and made it 25 Grand Slam wins and eight Wimbledon titles for his career. At odds of +600 there is solid value in backing one of the best ever to add another accomplishment to his resume, but it's a long shot.
