The 2024 NHL All-Star Game will take place on Saturday, February 3rd at Scotiabank Arena in Toronto, the final event of All-Star Weekend North of the border. There will be four teams in total, with four captains in Quinn Hughes, Connor McDavid, Auston Matthews, and Nathan MacKinnon. The event will get started at 3 PM EST and can be seen on ABC and ESPN. The odds across the board are even for all teams, but we'll get into that more below. Keep reading for the NHL All-Star Game picks and preview, including the rosters for each squad.

All teams sit at +275 odds for the All-Star Game. The format will be 3-on-3 and it's the first time since 2016 the teams won't be based on their division. There are also four celebrity captains: Will Arnett, Tate McRae, Justin Bieber, and Michael Buble. They've also never had an All-Star Game draft until 2023.

Connor Bedard and Jack Eichel made the All-Star Game but won't participate due to injury.

Team Hughes
Team Hughes is actually captained by Quinn Hughes of the Vancouver Canucks and his brother, New Jersey Devils star Jack Hughes. This roster is stacked with Canucks talent including JT Miller, Elias Pettersson, Hughes, Thatcher Demko, and Brock Boeser, among others. They also had the first pick in the draft and selected Tampa Bay Lightning standout Nikita Kucherov, who is leading the NHL in points with 85, scoring 32 goals and supplying 53 assists. The likes of Brady Tkachuk and Kyle Connor are capable of some damage, too. The chemistry Team Hughes will have due to so many Canucks is something to definitely keep an eye on when betting on the NHL All-Star Game.
Team McDavid
How can you look past Team McDavid? Although Connor McDavid isn't having as good of a season as last year, he's still arguably the greatest player on the planet and his co-star Leon Draisaitl is an absolute beast as well. Others to monitor on this roster include David Pastrnak, Sam Thomas, and Rasmus Dahlin, to name a few. Team McDavid may not be as talented as the other teams, but with McDavid and Draisaitl leading the way, anything is possible when Saturday rolls around.
Team Matthews
Team Matthews is the hometown favorite with Auston Matthews, Mitch Marner, Morgan Reilly, and William Nylander leading the way. The four are the core of the Maple Leafs and will have the support of the hometown fans at Scotiabank Arena on Saturday. Justin Bieber is also the celebrity captain, who grew up in Toronto. There are also numerous other great players on Team Matthews including Matthew Barzal, Igor Shesterkin, and Jake Oettinger, to name a few. It would not be a surprise at all to see this squad in the final. Not only do they have the talent but as previously mentioned, the crowd will be behind them.
Team MacKinnon
There are definitely some names that pop out on Team MacKinnon. Aside from the captain, he also selected Colorado Avalanche teammate Cale Makar, Pittsburgh Penguins legend Sidney Crosby, and Sebastian Aho, among others. Do not overlook Team MacKinnon on Saturday because they do have a lot of experience and talent on both ends of the ice.
NHL All-Star Game Picks
While one could definitely think the Maple Leafs will have this in the bag because of all their players on the same roster and the support at Scotiabank, I'm really loving Team Hughes. The Canucks players will relish in the hostile atmosphere and they've been firing on all cylinders as a team in 2023-24. Take Team Hughes at +275.
