OSB New York to Edge Out St. Louis Again Thursday Night

The St. Louis Blues and New York Rangers take to the ice this Monday night. Blues vs Rangers Bets look at the NHL Network contest from several angles. St. Louis and New York are honestly trying to both get back in the win column. They are both desperate teams who have fallen behind in their divisions early.

  • WHAT: St. Louis Blues vs. New York Rangers
  • WHEN: Monday, November 24th, 2025 at 7:00 pm ET

We always seek out the best NHL online betting sites. Also, we keep up with the current NHL betting odds. Given how crazy this season has been, the arrival of Thanksgiving week is almost a welcome one. That means there are more Monday games on than usual. Hey, there is nothing wrong with that.

Do remember there are betting options from other sports. Yes, go check out the online picks and news section. The moneyline numbers are just directly below.

Can One Of These Teams Get On A Run

Blues vs Rangers bets ask can one of these teams get on a run? Yes, both teams are playing awful hockey right now. The New York Rangers are actually a much better team on the road. How bad is it at home? New York has one win at Madison Square Garden. That is no misprint. The Rangers are 1-7-1 and scoring two goals feels like a Herculean challenge in front of their fans. Sometimes it really does look like they are skating in quicksand there.

The problem with St. Louis is not quite the same. Everything is chaos. Players only meetings, healthy scratches, coaches fighting with players, and much more. St. Louis could not have foreseen this. If not for how horrendous Nashville is, the Blues would also be last in their division too. However, they are sort of playing better in their last 10 games (going 4-2-4). Certainly, it is not too much to be proud of but then again, they have not lost four straight like the Rangers.

Normally, most experts would shy away from games like this. After all, there were some exciting tilts over the weekend that featured some fantastic comebacks and more. However, this is a strange week where we take Thursday off to be with family and give thanks. The schedule is a little changed up. Both teams are more than capable of getting on a run. St. Louis has done this a few times before and the Rangers are 9-4-1 on the road. New York just has to figure out things at home.

With how volatile both Jordan Binnington and Igor Shesterkin can be, this should set up for an exciting Monday night. Broadway and big lights should spotlight the goaltenders on two teams who can put a lot of shots on goal when motivated.

Blues vs Rangers Bets Risk The Game Total

Next, Blues vs Rangers bets risk the game total for Monday night. Now, the reasons to check out the game total are undeniable. Scoring goals feel like a household chore for both teams. Both teams score less than three goals a game. The Blues rank 26th in scoring while the Rangers are 28th. These are two squads who should be at least in the middle of the pack on offense with goaltending that has been a little inconsistent. Igor Shesterkin had been in better form before dropping games to Colorado and Vegas.

Now, then again those teams are two of the better teams in the Western Conference. St. Louis is far from that. The Blues keep ending up on the wrong side of one goal games too often. Fortunately, they were able to squeak out a 2-1 win over the New York Islanders in their last game. Like we mentioned above, scoring goals has been a problem. Jordan Faulk is tied for the team lead in goals with six. That probably should not happen. Jordan Kyrou and Robert Thomas lead with 13 points but that is far from enough.

For us, the Under lurks at 5.5 goals. It certainly will not move to 5 or 6 given how little movement has occurred. A few sites tried to move the Under to -115 but it has stayed mostly in the -108 to -112 range with few deviations. Jordan Binnington and Igor Shesterkin want to put on a show and the Under looks to be the way to go on Monday night.

Again, this game figures to be a bit more of a chess match with goals coming in at a premium. Some had even joked what if both teams get shut out in regulation and overtime? Hey, one never knows.

Different Prop Possibilities For Monday

Blues vs Rangers Bets highlight different prop possibilities for Monday. One of the crazier props to look deeper into is will the game go into overtime? The yes on this is +290. Given that the Blues have played a string of close games and have four overtime or shootout losses in their last 10 games, this seems to happen more with lower scoring teams. Add in that New York had just one home win and has been shutout five times in their own building and yes, there is little surprise.

As for other wagers, the team to win with a shutout is +800 for the Rangers and +900 for the Blues. Again, this may be one of those times where the chances here are higher than usual.

So, let us take the plunge for a little extra hockey Monday.
