The 2022 College World Series in Omaha, Nebraska is starting to heat up, with the Finals just days away. In Wednesday's action, the undefeated Oklahoma Sooners will be looking to book their ticket to the CWS Final as they face Texas A&M in the semifinals, who need a victory in order to keep their dreams alive. These two teams already met in the opening round, with the Sooners winning 13-8 in an absolute slugfest. Read on for our College World Series picks.

Texas A&M vs Oklahoma Prediction
The Aggies will be looking for revenge here after losing to the Sooners in their first game in Omaha. OU's bats destroyed A&M's pitching, chasing starter Nathan Dettmer after just 1.2 innings as they tagged him for seven earned runs. Joseph Menefee came in and also gave up four runs, but after that, the Aggies' bullpen did calm down. The offense, who have thrived all year long, did manage to do some damage though, banging out eight hits and slugging two homers. With their backs up against the wall on Tuesday, A&M ended Notre Dame's Cinderella run with a 5-1 victory. Dettmer responded with a flawless outing, tossing seven frames of scoreless baseball before the pen held it down. Trevor Werner and Austin Bost both enjoyed two-hits games and continue to swing it well in the College World Series. A&M collected 10 hits in total against Fighting Irish pitching and will need to bring it offensively once again on Wednesday. The Aggies must beat Oklahoma twice in a row in order to reach the CWS Final.
The Sooners, who arrived in Omaha unranked, have looked extremely good so far. They've outscored their opponents 19-10 in two games and most recently took down Notre Dame over the weekend as well by a score of 6-2. Cade Horton threw a gem for Oklahoma, going six innings and surrendering just two runs while striking out 11 batters. At the plate, Peyton Graham was the star of the show, going a perfect 4 for 4 with four singles. Center fielder Tanner Treadaway also raked, smacking three hits and driving in two runs. The bats are seriously flourishing at the moment and OU will be hoping that can continue in this contest.
Probable Pitchers
Texas A&M hasn't announced who they will start, but this team has gone through an absolute war across the last couple of days. Both Dettmer and Micah Dallas have already pitched a lot, which means it's likely going to be Ryan Prager getting the ball here. He's gone 1-3 in 17 appearances this season (15 starts), posting a 4.89 ERA. The left-hander pitched 0.1 of an inning against Oklahoma in the first game of the College World Series and should be very fresh here. His last outing before that was back on June 5th against TCU, going 2.1 frames and surrendering one unearned run. On the season, opposing lineups are hitting .261 off Prager. He'll need to bring his absolute best on Wednesday and keep the ball down in the zone. Will Johnston is another option for the Aggies, but he's made just two starts all year, compiling a 3.25 ERA. If Prager gets into early trouble, it wouldn't be a surprise to see them turn to Johnston in a long-relief role.
The Sooners on the other hand will have their ace ready to deal. Bennett already faced this A&M lineup in the opener of the CWS, throwing six innings of four-run baseball while walking none and striking out three. The 6'6" southpaw was utterly dominant all season long, posting a 10-3 record and 3.66 ERA in 18 starts. Bennett sat down 123 batters in 110.2 innings and walked only 22. The lefty does a phenomenal job of pounding the strike zone and keeping his team in the game and with a full four days of rest, Bennett is going to be ready to go.

Oklahoma definitely has the advantage in this game because of Bennett. He's been their go-to guy on the mound all year long and rarely fails to deliver. As for A&M, their lack of a true No. 3 starter could hurt them here. Prager isn't exactly pitching great this season and the bullpen will likely have to get involved rather early. This Sooners team is playing far too well on both sides of the ball in Omaha, though. They're going to advance to the College World Series Final.
