OddsMaker is an offshore sportsbook and casino brand established in the mid-2000s and based in Costa Rica. It provides sports betting, casino games, and poker, catering to players in the U.S. and internationally. [+]

The site has long carried a mixed reputation among bettors. While it attracted attention with large bonuses and headline offers, many players reported difficulties with withdrawals, confiscated balances, and confusing bonus terms. Accounts being closed without clear explanation further damaged trust and left OddsMaker with a reputation for inconsistency.

As of 2025, OddsMaker remains active but is far less prominent than it once was. The brand is best remembered for its bold promotions and controversial track record, serving today as a reminder that not all offshore books deliver the same level of reliability.

The website also currently advertises a 10% refer-a-friend bonus, although the details are not totally clear.

  • Special Refunds – Get your bet refunded if you wager on a game with a no-hitter, 10+ run “slaughter,” or a player hits for the cycle.

These are just a selection of the promotions available. For the full list and complete terms, check the official OddsMaker website.

The Oddsmaker website is of the no-frills variety, with the various sports and markets listed on the sportsbook homepage, while a list of available sports can be found in a left-hand menu. You can see at a glance how many markets are available for each sport, with the site loading its pages reasonably quickly and the layout of the odds is neat and structured. There are Quick Links provided to access Live Odds, Live Scores and Support, while a list of upcoming events also features prominently.

For those customers looking to bet on football (or soccer as it’s known at Oddsmaker), you will find just a handful of markets for the top games, while the odds are displayed in an American format which some people will find confusing. There is a Handicap Line and the option to bet on Total Goals, although you won’t find markets like Correct Score or First Goalscorer. However, those looking to bet on American sports will find a far bigger range of markets available which amount to a solid service.

Odds at OddsMaker are presented in the American format. For example, Aston Villa +1.5 might be listed at -105, while Chelsea -1.5 could be -125. The sportsbook tends to offer its most competitive margins on American football and baseball, where the lines are relatively tight compared to rival sites. In NFL markets specifically, spreads, moneylines, and totals are all typically priced at -110 across the board.

Oddsmaker now has a live betting section on its website. You will find it between ‘sportsbook’ and ‘casino’ in the bar at the top of the page.

We haven’t reviewed the Oddsmaker live betting experience yet. Why not try it for yourself and let us know how you get on?

Customer service representatives at Oddsmaker are available on a 24/7 basis, with staff being available at an instant if you contact them through live chat or telephone. You can also send an email to support@oddsmaker.ag and expect a response within 10 hours, although customers in the UK don’t enjoy a toll-free phone number like their north American counterparts. There are also links to FAQ and Sportsbook Help which might help you solve your query without needing to get in touch with a member of staff.

Several payment options are available at Oddsmaker.ag, including credit cards such as Visa and MasterCard. E Check, Bank Wire and Bitcoin are also listed as payment methods and depositing with these options will instantly fund your account so that you can start betting. It doesn’t appear as though customers in the UK can use a debit card to fund their account at the moment and you can expect a small charge of 1.5% added to any deposit made with a credit card, although there is a deposit bonus.

Our sportsbook review process

Twenty recommendations

We don’t recommend all sports betting operators online; it’s not even close. We know over two hundred operators offering betting lines for US players. Still, only 20 sportsbooks have earned our recommendation during the decade we have been reviewing bookies.

review-process-icon
What are they doing right?

Some sportsbooks fail even before we test them because their reputation among their existing players is so bad. Problems with payments? No thanks! Insane wagering rules for bonuses? No thanks! The customer support is M-I-A? No thanks!

review-process-icon
Customer service is important

We only recommend sportsbooks that succeed in the above areas. We also love it when the customer support agents are friendly while helping us. Some will even give you a bonus if you ask them!

Only use trusted sportsbooks

We recommend choosing only from our trusted list of sportsbooks. While no site can guarantee wins, the operators we list have a consistent track record of processing withdrawals securely and on time.
