Sportingbet Sportsbook Bonus
NOTE: Sportingbet does not hold a license to provide betting services in the US. As such, US-based bettors cannot place bets on this online sportsbook. Why not check out one of our offshore sportsbooks instead?
Sportingbet was founded in 1998 in the UK, quickly growing into one of the most recognizable names in European online sports betting. The brand changed hands in 2013, when parts of its business were acquired by William Hill and GVC Holdings (now known as Entain PLC). Under Entain’s ownership, Sportingbet has continued to operate as a distinct brand, offering its own odds, promotions, and sportsbook experience.
In 2025, Sportingbet remains a strong player in regulated European markets, licensed in jurisdictions such as the UK and Spain, and providing access to a wide range of pre-match and in-play betting options. However, Sportingbet does not accept bettors from the United States, as it is not licensed to operate within any U.S. state. Its focus remains firmly on Europe and other regulated international markets.

Sportingbet Sign Up Bonus
New players at Sportingbet can take part in the £50 Welcome Challenge, which rewards them with up to £50 in free bets, 20 free spins on Starburst, an Odds Boost token and a £10 casino bonus. The offer runs until 31 December 2025 and is open to UK residents over 18 who register a new account. To unlock the rewards, players must complete four separate challenges — the Acca, Football, In-Play and Casino challenges — each of which carries its own wagering requirements. Completing all four challenges triggers an additional £20 free bet, which is credited within minutes and must be used within three days.
Only one offer is available per household, and the promotion cannot be combined with other Sportingbet bonuses. All rewards are subject to the site’s promotional and free bet terms and conditions, along with the Gambling Commission’s licensing requirements.

- Football Challenge: Bet £10+ on any pre-match football single (min odds 1.50) to receive 20 free spins on Starburst (no wagering) plus a 10% Odds Boost Token (max stake £10).
- In-Play Challenge: Place a £10+ in-play single (min odds 1.50) and unlock a 50% back-up bet, credited as a free bet up to £20.
- Casino Challenge: Wager £100 on selected casino games and earn a £10 casino bonus with 10x wagering requirements.
- Complete All 4: Finish every challenge to claim an additional £20 free bet.
While not strictly a ‘promotion’, Sportingbet also advertises a ‘best odds’ guarantee and various casino bonuses.
Sportingbet Sportsbook Contests
Sportingbet previously offered a Rewards Points program that gave customers the chance to earn free bets and bonuses by accumulating points through regular play. While it was once tied to VIP perks and special promotions, no such contest or rewards scheme is currently advertised by Sportingbet.
