Mets favored for division crown

New York (+140) lost fan favorite Pete Alonso to the Orioles in free agency, but replaced his power with Bo Bichette, Luis Robert Jr. and Jorge Polanco. They also have future Hall of Famer Juan Soto, who hit .263 with 43 homers and 105 RBIs in his first season in the Big Apple. The 27-year-old finished sixth in baseball with a .921 OPS, and added 38 stolen bases for good measure.

Looking to win their first division title in a decade, the Mets added the ace they desperately needed in Freddy Peralta. While the starting pitching looks solid, the bullpen could be trouble.

Fanatic for the Phillies?

Philadelphia (+180) is looking for their third-straight division crown after winning the NL East by 13 games in 2025. It's now or never for this club as Bryce Harper, Trea Turner, Kyle Schwarber, Adolis Garcia and J.T. Realmuto are all at least 32 years old.

Cristopher Sánchez will look to follow up a season that saw him finish second in Cy Young voting. The Phillies also hope Zack Wheeler can return in the first half of the year after a blood clot in his right shoulder knocked him out of the rotation last August.

Back the Braves?

Atlanta (+250) had their seven-year playoff streak snapped in an ugly 76-win season in 2025. But a healthy Ronald Acuña Jr. will change the math if he can return to MVP form that saw him hit .337/.416/.596 with 41 dingers and an outrageous 73 steals in 2023.

The Venezuelan hit .290/.417/.518 with 21 home runs, 42 RBIs and nine stolen bases in 95 games last year after returning from an ACL tear he suffered the previous campaign. Remember, this Braves lineup isn't all that different from the one that led the MLB in scoring in 2023.

Avoid the longshots

While Miami (+2800) has an outside shot at staying in the Wild Card race, Washington (+8000) is in full rebuild mode. Both the Marlins and Nationals are bets to be avoided in a competitive division.

Juan Soto and Ronald Acuña Jr. are two of the best players in all of baseball, but their respective teams have way more question marks than the built-to-win-now Phillies.
