We're not just talking hotel room perks, either. They offer you extra benefits at the sportsbook and in the casino you might not find elsewhere. In some ways, they kind of have to. Because as you'll see, while they do have the cache that comes with an address on Vegas Boulevard, they don't have the same location advantages as many of their competitors.

Getting to the Treasure Island sportsbook from the McCarran International Airport is a breeze for guests. Traveling in either direction should take under 10 minutes by rideshare or shuttle in normal traffic. That is most convenient when leaving for your departing flight; it gives you some flexibility on your departure time.
But while Treasure Island's official address puts it on The Strip—at 3300 South Las Vegas Boulevard—it is also in the same boat as the Venetian and Wynn. By being all the way at the north end, Treasure Island is a fairly long distance away from other parts of Vegas Boulevard, almost annoyingly so.
Guests will almost certainly need to use a car if they want to head over to the southernmost end, should they be visiting casinos like Mandalay Bay and New York-New York. But even getting to Center Strip, like somewhere near the Cosmopolitan or Bellagio, can be a trek many aren't willing to make on foot.
Generally speaking, though, being on The Strip at all is better than not. Taxis and rideshares are cheap enough when they're traveling what's essentially a straight shot, and Treasure Island offers free self-parking in their seven-story garage for anyone who decides to rent a car on their own.
Places Your Bets at Treasure Island Sportsbook
Many Vegas sportsbooks fall into an obvious category right off the bat. They are big. They are small. They have a ton of TVs. They don't have enough TVs. Their hours of operation are great. Or not. And so on.
In-depth research of Treasure Island sportsbook doesn't yield that same concrete conclusion. It isn't necessarily the hotel's number one priority, but they haven't turned it into an afterthought alcove, like the one you'll find at Planet Hollywood. You also cannot compare it to a mid-end sportsbook, because it's bigger and more high-tech than them.
The best word to describe Treasure Island sportsbook would actually be underrated. It doesn't garner nearly enough attention for the level of service and access it provides.
Treasure Island sportsbook's hours of operation are part of this phenomenon. Bettors typically want a sportsbook that is open at least 12 hours per day, and that sets up shop in the wee hours of the morning on college football Saturdays and NFL Sundays. Treasure Island's cashiers, however, are available just 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Sunday through Thursday and then 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. on Friday and Saturday.
Look past the official hours, and this isn't really a problem. Treasure Island allows you to bet on sports at any one of their casino cashiers, which are open 24/7. They also have automated kiosks available inside the sportsbook that you can use at any time.
On top of that, Treasure Island sportsbook doesn't always close down their cashiers by 5 p.m. or 9 p.m. They will often stay open later if there's a huge event. You can bet they'll have people ready at the windows into the wee hours of the night before something like the Super Bowl or college football National Championship.
Treasure Island also does a nice job straddling the line between large operation and relaxed feel inside the sportsbook. They have nearly 200 seats, all with individual screens that can be especially useful for anyone betting on horse races, but they're seldom overcrowded. And while they tout just 20 large TVs, they are absolutely massive, making it easy to kick back and watch any mainstream competitions.
Looking to enjoy some snacks and cocktails while you watch your wager play out? You're in luck. Treasure Island's Golden Circle Sports Bar allows you to order a drink and food and take it back to your seat, or you can watch games from the bar itself.
One thing Treasure Island no longer has, though? A sportsbook app. They discontinued it in late 2020. They still have pay-by-mail offerings, so you can bet futures with confidence, but you'll no longer have access to a mobile app—meaning you have to place any wagers somewhere on the premises.

At just under 100,000 square feet, the Treasure Island casino is pretty gigantic. And they have everything you need for the typical Vegas experience throughout this space: slots, video poker, roulette, blackjack, craps—any gaming option you can think of, they have it under their roof.
In recent years, Treasure Island has gained praise for its high rollers lounge. They don't just have higher-limit tables and slots within the space. They have an actual separate bar. It's like a miniature club.
Oh, and on the subject of clubs, you'll definitely want to sign up for the Treasure Island Players Club. It is 100 percent free and gives you the opportunity to earn points on eligible bets at slot machines and tables. Like most other casinos, though, you will not rack up points for wagers placed at the sportsbook.
Where most players' clubs offer pretty basic rewards, Treasure Island's list of perks is more dynamic. It includes everything from event tickets, comped rooms, free bets, gift cards to shops, comped meals, and more.

This is actually pretty unique for a hotel of Treasure Island's size and stature. After all, you're not dealing with a rinky-dink operation. The inside is state of the art, and the list of amenities goes on forever. Consider all of the following on their official listing:
Flat-screen LCD TV with digital cable, pay-per-view movies and internet access (included with resort fee), large desk area with wired and wireless laptop high-speed internet access (included with resort fee), lounge seating area, clock radio with iPod and MP3 player docking station, mirrored wardrobe with full iron and ironing board, private safe with a digital combination lock, bathroom features marble floor and countertops, ample storage, and hotel spa shampoo, conditioner, and other amenities, hairdryer and lighted makeup mirror, large soaking bathtub, individual climate control, and voice mail system.
That is bonkers. And this is all in addition to their collection of shops that almost mirrors a mall. Treasure Island really does give you a lot intangible amenities for the price point.
At the same time, they fall a little short in the restaurant department. For a hotel with over 2,800 rooms, they need to have more than five to seven options on-site now. They do make up for it by having a gargantuan catalog of shows with comedians, musicians, and whatnot. But if you're going to advertise yourself as a resort, there should be a minimum of 10 restaurants on the property.
In the end, despite a couple of quirks here and there—such as the absence of a sportsbook app and location on The Strip—we find Treasure Island to be a more than an acceptable place to stay for your next Vegas getaway.
