Fighter Spotlight: Jack Rafferty
The unbeaten Rafferty (26-0, 17 KOs) won the British title via a ninth-round stoppage victory over Henry Turner in October of last year. He successfully defended his title belts against Reece McMillan. Rafferty followed that up with a defense of the Commonwealth crown against Cory O’Regan. Both of those wins came via stoppage.

Fighter Spotlight: Mark Chamberlain
Chamberlain (17-1, 12 KOs) looked to be battling his way up the ladder to a world title bout when he was beaten by Josh Padley last September at Wembley Stadium via unanimous decision, suffering his first career defeat.
He rebounded into the win column in April. Chamberlain scored a points victory over Miguel Angel Scaringi in an eight-round super lightweight bout. Chamberlain is the former holder of the IBF European, WBA Intercontinental, and WBC Silver lightweight titles.

That being the case, maybe betting the under on total rounds for this fight would be one of the best bets of the night. The total for the bout is set at 10.5 rounds. The under will pay out at a handsome +200 in the boxing betting lines. Surprisingly, the over is set as the -250 odds-on favorite for the fight.
However, oddsmakers are putting the betting line on the fight going the full 12-round distance at -200. You'll access a line of +150 in the boxing odds if you go with the fight ending early.
Best Bet To Win British Super Lightweight Title
Rafferty has battled hard to get his title belts. He won 20 fights into his pro career before promoters were willing to give him a crack at some of the upper-echelon fighters in his weight class. He brutalized unbeaten southpaw Turner with a persistent assault of body shots to win the British super lightweight title.
Rafferty has won all six of his championship fights by stoppage. Chamberlain is another southpaw, but he's stepping up in weight class. And he was recently dropped to the canvas in his loss to Padley, a fighter not known for his punching power. The relentlessness and doggedness of Rafferty will be the difference. Take him to retain his British super lightweight belt in the boxing picks, most likely by stoppage.
