Preview

A real boxing opponent for Paul. The Youtuber turned boxer hasn't yet faced a legitimate challenge in the ring. One could say Anderson Silva was no easy task, but let's be honest, he was a UFC superstar over anything else. Paul is now 6-0 in his career, beating the Brazilian via unanimous decision last October. He was initially supposed to take on Hasim Rahman Jr in August, but an issue arose with Rahman's weight and the bout never happened. In his short boxing tenure, "The Problem Child" has taken out Nate Robinson, Tyron Woodley on two occasions, Ben Askren, and AnEsonGib. Paul is confident as can be that he's the next best thing and the only way he'll prove it is by beating Fury, a guy who has been a pro boxer since 2018. Plus, Paul has never fought anyone under the age of 35 that is actually a legitimate pro in this sport. It's a test for him but based on all the trash talk, Paul believes he's more than capable of laying Fury on the canvas down in Saudi Arabia.

Tommy Fury's name first rang around UK circles after he appeared on the reality TV show Love Island, but also because he's related to Tyson Fury. Fury is 8-0 in his career with four knockouts. His last meaningful bout was last April, defeating Daniel Bocianski. The Brit was supposed to fight Paul Bamba at the end of last year, but it fell through due to weight problems. There is absolutely no doubt Fury wants to wipe the floor with Paul, but it won't be an easy fight. That being said, Fury is more than capable of holding his own and as previously mentioned, is by far the most experienced opponent Paul has ever faced. He will like his chances here. All the social media back and forths have just amped up the excitement for this matchup even more.

Jake Paul vs Tommy Fury Picks

I truly think this will be a very good fight. Paul has been talking a ton of smack, but the question is, can he back it up? In my opinion, he can. Despite the lack of talented opponents in the ring, the 26-year-old can hold his own and possesses great quickness, footwork, and hands. I'm liking the Paul moneyline here. He'll win this bout and likely secure an even better opposition next time out.
