About Mise-O-Jeu
Mise-O-Jeu was released in 2004, alongside PlayNow in British Columbia, and began accepting wagers at lottery kiosks around the province. They have been restricted by the same regulations and rules that all other provinces struggle with: no single game bets. While many provinces have updated their products to include more betting options or more sports, Mise-O-Jeu has been pretty standard, but recently just added live betting to their repertoire.
If you were to sign up at Mise-O-Jeu, you will need to create an account, live in the province, and prove you reside there, as well as your age. You can use a major credit card to fund your account - which is nice, some offshore sportsbooks have limited card options - but many do accept MasterCard and Visa. The one benefit to Canadian sportsbooks is that they accept Interac Debit transactions as well.

Another flaw we see a Mise-O-Jeu is a restriction on single-game wagers like we outlined above. Betting on multiple games can sometimes be too risky if the right bet isnât there. If you donât have the option to just bet on one game, you are missing out big time on the true sports betting experience.
Forcing parlays just forces sports bettors to throw their money away, especially beginner bettors. Only experienced bettors really know how to win week after week with parlay betting. Mise-O-Jeu doesnât have the expert oddsmakers on staff that can predict game outcomes accurately and confidently enough to have the betting odds that a big sportsbook like Bodog would, so they need to lower the odds to protect themselves.
Simply put, you get better odds and way higher payouts on offshore sportsbooks, and you also can place single-game wagers. And did we mention that offshore sportsbooks have bonuses? Mise-O-Jeu does not have any bonuses available to users.
Mise-O-Jeu Betting Options
While Mise-O-Jeu has made minor improvements the past decade and has added more betting options and sports, like the UFC and combat sports, for example, it still just canât compete with the variety that offshore sportsbooks have.
For any professional sports game, Mise-O-Jeu offers the moneyline, spread, and total options, but offshore books have upwards of 50 or more betting options available for each game. You can bet on almost any instance in a game on a site like Bodog or MyBookie.
A nice touch that Mise-O-Jeu has introduced in-game betting, which allows you to place wagers on instances that happen while the game is going on.
Mise-O-Jeu Bonuses and Promotions
Mise-O-Jeu does not offer any bonuses or promotions to its users. This is a huge missed opportunity because bettors who are rewarded for their loyalty and able to double their bankroll in some situations will bet more in the long run.
