The Rays will be in good hands as they chase history and their 11th straight win. Tuesday, their best pitcher, ace Shane McClanahan will take the mound against the division rival Red Sox.

They've done something no other team has done in over 35 years. I would love to advise and pick the Red Sox to win this game. I would normally advise that, except that the Rays have their best pitcher pitching tomorrow.

This feels like such an obvious spot for an upset from a division rival like the Red Sox. However, I'm believing in this Rays team and believe they will win their 11th game in a row.
I would recommend betting on the Rays money line because they may lose but it won't be with McClanahan on the mound.

He's such an overpowering pitcher, I'd venture to say oddsmakers will most likely set his total at 6.5 strikeouts. He averaged 10.5K/9 last year and is off to a great start with 12 strikeouts already.

This is an interesting total set at 7.5 runs because it's a low number considering the Rays and Red Sox are two of the top-scoring teams in all of baseball. Perhaps the oddsmaker's belief is that McClanahan will shut down the Red Sox lineup, but that doesn't seem to take into account the Rays lineup.

The Rays are the best team in baseball. I am going to keep backing the best team in baseball as long as I can. I think the only reason the money line odds are less than -200 is that oddsmakers and bettors are afraid of the winning streak.
