The Tampa Bay Rays are the best team in baseball. They have started the season a perfect 10-0. The first team to do so in over 35 years!

The Rays will be in good hands as they chase history and their 11th straight win. Tuesday, their best pitcher, ace Shane McClanahan will take the mound against the division rival Red Sox.
McClanahan has been excellent this season with a 1.50 ERA and 12 strikeouts to pair with his 2-0 record. The Red Sox will be sending out Garrett Whitlock for his first start of the season.
Despite this being his first start of the season, Whitlock has had some success in the past against the Rays. He has a 1-1 record, with an ERA of 3 and 14 strikeouts.
The Red Sox will be looking to bounce back after falling to the Rays 1-0 yesterday.
This is going to be an interesting game. While everything seems to indicate that the Rays should win this game. They've won 10 in a row. At what point do they lose a game?

They've done something no other team has done in over 35 years. I would love to advise and pick the Red Sox to win this game. I would normally advise that, except that the Rays have their best pitcher pitching tomorrow.
This feels like such an obvious spot for an upset from a division rival like the Red Sox. However, I'm believing in this Rays team and believe they will win their 11th game in a row.
I would recommend betting on the Rays money line because they may lose but it won't be with McClanahan on the mound.
McClanahan is always a fun pitcher to bet on when it comes to pitching props like strikeouts because he dominates hitters as you can see below:

He's such an overpowering pitcher, I'd venture to say oddsmakers will most likely set his total at 6.5 strikeouts. He averaged 10.5K/9 last year and is off to a great start with 12 strikeouts already.
|McClanahan O 6.5||-115||-115||-115|
|McClanahan U 6.5||-105||-105||-105|
I would recommend betting on the over, McClanahan has a great history against the Red Sox. He's 3-1 with an ERA of 2.45 and 31 strikeouts in 5 appearances against the Red Sox in his career.
I would recommend betting on over 6.5 strikeouts for Shane McClanahan.

This is an interesting total set at 7.5 runs because it's a low number considering the Rays and Red Sox are two of the top-scoring teams in all of baseball. Perhaps the oddsmaker's belief is that McClanahan will shut down the Red Sox lineup, but that doesn't seem to take into account the Rays lineup.
|Over 7.5 Runs||-105||-110||-105|
|Under 7.5 Runs||-115||-110||-115|
This seems like a mistake by the oddsmakers, with the way both teams hit and score runs, I would have to advise the over on this one.
I would recommend betting over 7.5 runs in this game.
The Rays are the best team in baseball. I am going to keep backing the best team in baseball as long as I can. I think the only reason the money line odds are less than -200 is that oddsmakers and bettors are afraid of the winning streak.
I'm not and that's why I'd recommend betting on the Rays money line as the best bet.
