2024 MotoGP Season Bets - Some New Numbers

The MotoGP Grand Prix of Qatar is still just about nine weeks away. Meanwhile, some new numbers have come to us from the books. Let's take a preview of some MotoGP online betting season bets right away. With some riders taking on new teams and others getting bike upgrades, this shapes up to be the craziest season yet.

The speeds and close racing with these MotoGP bikes get us excited for this upcoming season. We enjoy the sprints and the various testing exercises. It shows us which riders and teams may be on our radar. Those three tests in February could loom larger than anyone believes. Now, here are the latest 2024 MotoGP overall numbers for the perceived contenders heading into this season.

Marco Bezzecchi+2000+1500+1800
Franco Morbidelli+4000+3500+4000
Aleix Espargaro+5000+5500+5500

Online betting sites like BetOnline got us thinking a little bit with certain riders. Can Francesco Bagnaia do it for a third year in a row? Will Enea Bastianini be more of a factor? With two Italian Ducati's and now two Spanish Ducati's, there could be lots of unexpected results and crash outs.

So, when betting on MotoGP futures, be mindful of the data and team changes. Also, one wants to take a few shots but do not get too crazy. Finally, do examine several reviews of the top online sportsbooks. They will help you with great MotoGP betting sites as the season draws closer to that March 10th start.

2024 MotoGP Season Bets - So What Happened Up Until Now

Yes, it is crazy but again there's still more than two months until the first race. Now, the 2024 MotoGP Season Bets try to figure out which teams/riders improved and those that became worse. What changed from the end of November? The problem is between Francesco Bagnaia repeating and now, there have been changes. Team Ducati added one of the all-time bests in Marc Marquez. Marquez gets a chance to take one last title shot with the Ducati bike via Gresini Racing and team with brother, Alex.

Obviously, there were a few other moves. Those include the following:

  • Álex Rins moved to Monster Energy Yamaha MotoGP from LCR Honda, replacing Franco Morbidelli who will move to Prima Pramac Racing, replacing Johann Zarco.
  • Johann Zarco moved to LCR Honda from Prima Pramac Racing, replacing Álex Rins.
  • Fabio Di Giannantonio who will move to VR46 Racing Team, replacing Luca Marini.
  • Pedro Acosta enters the MotoGP class with GasGas Factory Racing Tech3, replacing Pol Espargaró.
  • Luca Marini will move to Repsol Honda from VR46, replacing Marc Márquez.

Indeed, that is the readers' digest version of what happened during the silly season. Keep in mind, 2023 saw a full schedule but 2024 features a little bit more of a surprise. Yes, 21 is not enough.

So, a full 22 race schedule greets us heading into the 2024 season. Going from Qatar to Valencia expects to be a wild ride. The Grand Prix of Kazakhstan should be fun in mid June. Sokol International Circuit is different. Okay, again, what about those contenders? Let's start with last year's World Champion.

Francesco Bagnaia - 2024 MotoGP Season Bets Top Choice?

Francesco Bagnaia gets a little discounted again for the 2024 MotoGP Season Bets. In the last month, it seems things have changed with some longer odds which may be good news. The Ducati duo of Bagnaia and Bastianini hopes to get a full season under their belts. Too often last year, one or the other was hurt or in less optimal form. Ducati Lenovo should hopefully have more continuity.

Debatably, Bagania showed the most dominance in 2023 aside from the Sprints. Those kept the championship race close right until the finale in Spain. It was then that Bagnaia cemented his repeat bid. Remember, there were two excellent points to wager on Bagnaia last year. He was at +175 at this point then +200 in June. Could lightning strike again here?

By the end of 2023, "Pecco" found a way to rise above all the adversity. Now, the question becomes does the Italian find a way to three-peat? He is battle tested enough to triumph yet again.

Do We Stray From Marquez To Martin Again?

2024 MotoGP season bets asks do we stray from Marquez to Martin again? Marc Marquez and Jorge Martin set the stage for what could be a contentious 2024 in the "Spanish Armada." Think about it. Martin came in second behind former teammate Bagnaia. Marquez wants to take one last shot at contending for a world title. Books have jumped on that as Marquez is Even to +150. Meanwhile, Martin gets to +400 on Bovada. That sets up for some value.

From early data, the eight Ducati bikes rule the roost when it comes to how the early leaderboard could play out. That is not necessarily a harbinger of things to come. Brad Binder from KTM/Red Bull could perform well. He was in contention up until the final 1/4 of the season. Honda may be the big question mark. For now, we may stay away.

Marquez, as we said, is as short as Even via Bovada. That steers us more toward Martin who came so close to glory in 2023. If he makes less mistakes, the Spaniard has more than a chance.

What About Longer Shots?

There is one longer shot among the longer shots for us. Franco Morbidelli could be fun along with Maverick Vinales. Vinales rolls in around +5000 while Morbidelli is +4000 on MyBookie.
