Singapore Grand Prix Bets - So It Has Been A Long Time

So, yes, it has been a long time since we did this. Anyway, the latter portion of the Formula 1 season allows us to go in several different directions. It is hard to believe, but we are a day away from practice for the Singapore Grand Prix Bets. Our goal is to again offer some different Formula 1 online betting options because just predicting the winner gets stale sometimes.

Now, one of the more intriguing concepts right now is just enjoying all the Formula 1 wagering choices we did not have even a year or two ago. There exist only so many ways to bet on a bevy of futures, props, and more. With the feeling of race day being like no other, the most welcome site is hearing those engines rev up. Okay, we miss all the warmups, practice sessions, and even the eliminations from the qualification runs.

With Max Verstappen winning the past couple of races, we wanted to get even more creative in some of our wagering. Yes, Bovada and BetOnline seem to have qualification mirror their Grand Prix race results. We show a tiny bit of movement in this new table below.

Singapore Grand Prix Bets - Qualifying Question Marks?

Yes, the race at Marina Bay offers us a look at some qualifying question marks. Something quirky about Singapore is the fact that Max Verstappen has never won at Marina Bay. He has even had several shots at the pole only to fail each time. The reasons have been various and yet all technically different. There have been pit stalls, driver error, and more. However, Verstappen and Red Bull never have seen the pole. Winning at Singapore really has been as much of a pipe dream as qualifying.

2025 at Marina Bay sets up well again for McLaren and Ferrari drivers. Last season, Oscar Piastri and Lando Norris battled for the pole. Norris won the pole with an all-time record. Norris then won the race at a record pace too. The quirky part was the fastest lap set by Red Bull. Last year's twist was how fast Mercedes was on the bouncy track. Piastri was behind the two Mercedes cars albeit by what felt like a front spoiler.

So, why wait until the race? What fun is that? Honestly, the Ferrari cars were insanely fast on this track two years ago. Charles Leclerc and Carlos Sainz blazed a trail in qualifying. There lies a scenario where Ferrari turns in a time this time unlike 2024. Could Lewis Hamilton surprise here? He did get a pole or two in his day (+2200 via BetOnline).

Verstappen shortened to around +200 for qualifying. Even with the temptation to flirt with Ferrari, it is hard to stray too far from McLaren. Another question lies with Norris. Does he take too many risks? Yes. Does it make him fun to bet here? Yes. Norris, Piastri, and Verstappen are all basically around the same.

Singapore Grand Prix Bets - Yes We Are Talking About Practice Here!

Can we talk about practice here in the Singapore Grand Prix Bets? Here is the problem. Trying to figure out which driver will win the practice is no fun. However, going by team may prove to be a little easier. For Singapore, it really comes down to three teams. McLaren, Ferrari, and Mercedes. Some debate Red Bull here but it really is Verstappen and no one else. That adds a lot of risk.

Digging into the numbers has been a lot of fun. It is easy to just roll with McLaren here. This is because many expected this to be in the -250 to -300 range given what happened in 2024. Last year, Ferrari won the first practice session only to see Leclerc trumped by Norris in practice sessions two and three. Again, the bet focuses on the first practice session. That may be why McLaren lengthened closer to -150 in some spots.

Again, looking at those Singapore Grand Prix bets has us staring at Ferrari at +300, but for how long? In the meantime, if one can get Mercedes at greater than +1000, maybe consider a few dollars there as well. The problem is again this is the first practice session. Teams like McLaren take it a little easy during FP1 in general.

What Else Is There?

Singapore Grand Prix Bets asks what else is there? Again, props range from race, driver, and team. Fastest lap is always tough but I would side with Norris over Piastri at +200. Both being at the same number makes us drift toward the racer that takes more chances.

Again, Charles Leclerc loves practice and qualifying. If one wants to take a swing. Leclerc to win the first free practice is actually +400 which has a bit more value compared to the team number.

Hey, this beats trying to think about betting Leclerc for the race.
