Damian Lillard will make his season debut in Saturday night's 3-point shooting contest after missing the entire campaign with a torn Achilles tendon. While the 35-year-old Trail Blazers star won the event in both 2023 and 2024, he'll face stiff competition from this year's eight-player field of sharp-shooters.

Who will win the 2026 NBA 3-Point Contest? Let's look at the latest betting lines. Odds are subject to change.

Knueppel opens as slight favorite

Kon Knueppel (+375) is looking to become the first-ever rookie to win the event. The 20-year-old Charlotte Hornets guard is shooting 43.1% from beyond the arc, the second-highest in the competition. Only Donovan Mitchell (185) has made more 3-pointers this season than Knueppel (183), who's averaging 3.4 per game.

Dame Time once again?

Damian Lillard (+400) said, “All-Star Weekend needs stars,” upon announcing his surprise addition to the competition he won in back-to-back years. While the 35-year-old could join Larry Bird and Craig Hodges as the only three-time 3-Point contest winners in history, the nine-time NBA All-Star will probably be rusty on Saturday night.

Devin Booker (+600) is the only other former champion in the field, having won the event way back in 2018. Set to compete in his fifth 3-Point contest, the Phoenix Suns guard also finished runner-up in his last appearance in 2020. However, his 31.1% three-point mark is by far the lowest in the field.

Other contenders

Jamal Murray (+600) is shooting 42.5% from deep, second only to Knueppel (43.1%). Making his 3-Point contest debut, the Nuggets guard is one of four competitors averaging better than three triples per contest.

Tyrese Maxey (+600) and Donovan Mitchell (+650) are also knocking down 3+ triples per outing, however their 37.9 and 37.6 three-point shooting percentages are lower than most of their fellow competitors.

Longshots to win

Norman Powell (+900) was eliminated in the first round of last year's contest. The 32-year-old guard is averaging just under three (2.9) 3-pointers per game while shooting north of 39% from outside for the eighth straight campaign.

Bobby Portis (+1800) is the only non-guard in the event, as well as the only player (outside of Lillard) to not rank in the top 50 of total 3-pointers this season. But no one in the competition has a higher 3-point shooting percentage (45%) than the Milwaukee Bucks veteran.

2026 NBA 3-Point Contest Winner Picks

Kon Knueppel (+375) has the best combination of volume (3.4 threes per game) and efficiency (43.1) in this year's event, but Jamal Murray (+600) sure is close with 3.2 triples per contest on 42.5% efficiency.

We'll take the Canadian sharp-shooter to score the upset.
