UFC Fight Night Overview: Mario Bautista vs Vinicius Oliveira
Bautista is the No. 9-ranked contender in the UFC bantamweight rankings. Oliveira is listed as the No. 13 contender in the divisional rankings. He's dropped a spot since the previous rankings were out.
Fighter Spotlight: Mario Bautista
Bautista (16-3) is looking to rebound after dropping a decision to Umar Nurmagomedov at UFC 321. That brought an end to his eight-fight win streak. That was the third-longest win streak in UFC bantamweight history.

Bautista is 10-3 since joining UFC. The signature win for the 32-year-old fighter was a controversial split decision victory over former UFC featherweight champion Jose Aldo at UFC 307.
Fighter Spotlight: Vinicius Oliveira
Brazilian Oliveira (23-3) earned a UFC contract by scoring a TKO victory over Victor Madrigal in 2023, competing in Dana White's Contender Series. He's gone 4-0 since joining the promotion. Two of Oliveira's four wins also earned fight-of-the-night recognition.
His last three victories were each scored as unanimous decisions. Over his career, the 30-year-old Oliveira has won 16 of his 23 fights via knockout.
Prediction: Bautista's resume of accomplishments is significantly more impressive than the fighters Oliveira has beaten. He's also the more versatile fighter, with a background in wrestling
Oliveira's strength is his powerful striking game. However, since moving into UFC, this puncher hasn't been able to deliver knockouts with the consistency he was able to achieve before joining the promotion. That's why the best bet in this bout is to go with Bautista to win in the UFC picks.
UFC Fight Night Overview: Amir Albazi vs Kyoji Horiguchi
Similar to the Bautista vs Oliveira bout, this contest also pits two of the top contenders in the division against each other in the octagon. Albazi is the No. 6 contender in the flyweight division. He's down one place since the previous rankings. Horiguchi is rated as the No. 8 contender in this weight class.
Albazi (17-2) originally hails from Iraq. In his last fight, The Prince, as Albazi is known, was defeated by Brandon Moreno via unanimous decision. The setback ended his six-fight win streak.
The loss also halted Albazi's perfect record as a UFC fighter. He'd been 5-0 since joining the promotion. In his career, he has five wins by knockout and nine victories via submission.
Japanese fighter Horiguchi (35-5) is 6-0-1 in his last seven fights. One of his fights was ruled a no-contest due to an accidental eye poke. He's a very active fighter in the octagon and highly skilled in all aspects of MMA.

His last fight was Horiguchi's UFC debut. He defeated Tagir Ulanbekov by technical submission via a rear-naked choke. The bout was awarded the performance of the night.
Prediction: Albazi hasn't fought since his 2024 loss to Moreno. He missed all of 2025 due to health reasons and could be the victim of a case of cage rust. He went into his fight against Moreno, coming off a 16-month layoff, and was soundly defeated.
Horiguchi is a finishing machine. He was the first fighter to submit Ulanbekov. A win here will move him into the top-five contenders and perhaps even set him up for a title shot. Go with Horiguchi to win over Albazi in the UFC picks.
