Arizona's still undefeated

Arizona (+375) is favored to win the program's second national championship this spring. The Wildcats picked up an impressive 86-83 road win over BYU on Monday to remain unbeaten on the season at 21-0. The victory marked the fifth time this year that both members of their dynamic backcourt, Brayden Burries and Jaden Bradley, notched 20 or more points in the same game.

National championship contenders

Michigan (+525) is 19-1 on the campaign with a massive 40-point blowout victory over No. 6 Gonzaga on their resume. In their last game, the Wolverines mounted a nine-point second-half comeback to hand No. 5 Nebraska its first loss of the season.

Duke (+600) is led by Wooden Award favorite Cameron Boozer, who put up 32 points, nine rebounds and four assists in a dominant 90-69 win over Wake Forest on Saturday. Ranked No. 1 in ESPN’s latest BPI, the Blue Devils own a 6-1 record against ranked opponents. Next up is No. 3 Michigan on Feb. 21.

Longshots and Cinderella's

UConn (+1400) has a 20-1 record and is on a 16-game winning streak, but their odds are long because their last four wins have come by six points or fewer. Normally that might be something to worry about, but we're talking about Dan Hurley's Huskies, who just won back-to-back national championships in 2023 and 2024.

Illinois (+1400) is on a nine-game winning streak. Thanks to freshman guard Keaton Wagler, who scored 46 points in a road victory over Purdue last weekend,  the Fighting Illini  have the highest offensive rating in the history of KenPom's college basketball rankings.

Texas Tech (+2800) has nine victories in its past ten contests, with their only loss coming at the hands of No. 10 Houston, who they beat at home just last weekend. Given the Cougars are +1200, the Red Raiders are an excellent value right now.

2026 NCAA Men’s Tournament Winner Picks

Last year's Final Four featured all four #1 seeds (Florida, Duke, Houston and Auburn) for the first time since 2008. If that trend holds, dominant teams like Arizona (+375), Michigan (+525) and Duke (+600) could actually be smart value plays. However, make sure to take some of your favorite longshots, like Texas Tech (+2800), for a chance to hit big.
