We may well be approaching Easter, but there is no sign of the Table Tennis action in the Czech Liga Pro winding down for the holiday season. Thursday is no different to any other day on the circuit, and we’ve checked the latest odds, and have come up with the day's best free table tennis picks.

The big clash of the quartet is the opening match up between Jakub Boruvka and Josef Medek. Boruvka goes into the match as the outsider, with Medek’s 3-1 win over his rival back on February 5th, no doubt a contributing factor.
Elsewhere, Erik Mares looks set to have a tough day at the office. He is the outsider in all of his three matches, and is a very long shot in his respective matches against Boruvka and Medek.

This is the main clash between this quartet. Josef Medek is the clear favorite, and in the last meeting between the pair, Medek came out on top with a 3-1 win.
In truth, it was a clear win for Medek, and the betting for this match up probably looks about right. Medek won the opening set 11-8, with Boruvka fighting back to level the match at one set all with a hard fought 14-12 win in Set Two.
After that, Medek went into cruise control, taking the next two sets, 11-6, and 11-5.
Boruvka has only played one day since that loss, and that was last month, when he won four out of four. The opposition that day wasn’t the strongest though, and this match will be a real step up in class.
For the record, Josef Medek has played eight times in the last two days, losing four, and winning four. We feel this might be a bit closer than the odds suggest, but the pick has to be for a win for Medek.
Jan Zajicek -225 vs Erik Mares +162
The odds on both Josef Medek (-500) and Jakub Boruvka (-600) to beat Erik Mares are way too short to wager on. Admittedly, they may have been the other way around, considering Medek is favored to beat Boruvka by the best Table Tennis online betting sites, but make of that what you will.
We’re not backing either of them to beat Mares, so it’s irrelevant anyway. But we are looking at Mares’ match against Jan Zajicek with more interest.
In the Czech Pro League this year, these two players have met eight times. Zajicek has won five, Mares has been victorious on three occasions. In their last four matches, their record is two wins each. Both of Zajicek’s wins were 3-0, both of Mares’ wins were 3-1.
Add to all this that Zajicek lost two of his four matches on Tuesday, and this isn’t the certainty it first appears to be. So, with a slightly cautious approach, we’re going with the underdog to win this one.
Jakub Boruvka +137 vs Jan Zajicek -188
In the last eight meetings between these two, Jan Zajicek has been victorious on six occasions. More recently, Zajicek has won five of the last six, but only one of the last two.
The most recent meetings were on January 29th, with the honors shared. On the day, Zajicek won his match 3-1, Boruvka pulled off a 3-0 victory in his win. Despite Boruvka’s 3-0 win sounding convincing, it wasn’t. The set scores were 11-9, 12-10, and 16-14. This shows it was a real battle, but ultimately it was Jakub Boruvka who prevailed.
As we already mentioned, Zajicek lost two of his four matches on Tuesday. So we think it makes more sense to take the better odds available on Jakub Boruvka to win this match up. And we are making that our final Table Tennis betting pick for the day.
