Kawhi Leonard reminded everyone that he's one of the best basketball players on planet earth with a 39-point performance in a 105-102 win in Denver on Monday night. After losing Game 1 in overtime, the Clippers avoided a 2-0 hole and evened up the Western Conference series at a game a piece.

Clippers vs Nuggets Betting Trends
Los Angeles is a 4.5-point home underdog at the Intuit Dome, where they finished the regular season with an impressive 30-11 record. The Clippers are also 28-13 against the spread at home with a league-best 20-8 mark as home favorites.
Tyronn Lue's club entered the playoffs as the hottest team in the NBA, winning 18 of their final 21 contests.
The Nuggets have a 24-17 record away from home with a 9-7 mark as road underdogs.
The over/under for Thursday's game is set at 214.5 points. Game 1 went over that total (222 points) while Game 2 hit the under (207). The OVER went 23-18 in Denver road games this season and 20-20-1 in L.A. home contests.

Kawhi delivers
After playing in only 37 games this season, it was fair to wonder if Kawhi Leonard could still get it done in the playoffs. However, the 33-year-old looks every bit as dominant as he did when leading the Clippers to the Western Conference finals in 2021 and Raptors to an NBA Championship in 2019.
Kawhi finished 15-for-19 from the field for 39 points in L.A.'s 105-102 Game 2 win, and made a key steal of a Jokic pass with 37 seconds remaining to seal the game.
Can Nuggets rebound in Game 3?
Unlike their opponents, Denver didn't enter the postseason with the most positive vibes. They fired longtime coach Michael Malone following a four-game slide in early April and replaced him with David Adelman, who was a perfect 4-0 before Monday's Game 2 loss.
Nikola Jokic recorded his 19th career playoff triple-double (26 points, 12 rebounds, 10 assists), but had an uncharacteristic seven turnovers in the defeat. The three-time NBA MVP was better in Game 1, with 29 points, 12 assists and nine boards.
