Tatum injury changes everything

After winning 61 games in the regular season and cruising to a 4-1 first-round series win against the Magic, Boston looked like a good bet to repeat as NBA champions. Now, after a suspected Achilles injury to Jayson Tatum, the Celtics look poised for a rebuild.

Before he was carried off the court on Monday, Tatum had scored 42 points with 8 rebounds and 4 assists. Jaylen Brown will need to step up in his teammate's absence, but he's struggled versus the Knicks, averaging only 16.3 points on 39.3% shooting through four games.

However, Joe Mazzulla's squad is 9-2 without Tatum this season, with a 3-2 mark against playoff teams.

Brunson delivers again

While the Tatum injury stole the headlines, Jalen Brunson had stolen Game 4 long before the Celtics star went down. Mr. Clutch finished with 39 points and 12 assists, scoring 18 in the third quarter to erase a 14 point Celtics lead.

Mikal Bridges was also incredible, registering 14 of the Knicks' first 16 points in the fourth quarter, and Karl-Anthony Towns finished with 23 points on 11-for-15 shooting.
