Oddsmakers are setting Joey Logano and Ryan Blaney as the +1000 co-favorites to win the 2026 NASCAR Daytona 500. However, they don't believe that either of those drivers will be starting the race from pole position.

It's Chad Briscoe who is set as the +350 favorite at leading online sportsbooks to earn pole position for the 2026 Daytona 500.

Let's look at the latest NASCAR betting lines for Daytona 500 qualifying. Remember, odds are always subject to change.

The drivers will cover 200 laps to complete the 500 miles in this race. The Daytona 500 is divided into three stages of 65, 65, and 70 laps.

Chase Briscoe (+350)

Briscoe gave Toyota its first pole last season. It was also the first for Joe Gibbs Racing since Bobby Labonte in 1998.

However, it's worth noting that since 1990, the only driver to win back-to-back poles was Chase Elliott in 2016 and 2017.

Joey Logano (+600)

Logano was the Daytona 500 pole sitter in 2024. It was the first pole for a Ford in 12 years.

Logano qualified fourth for last year's race. He was among four Fords occupying the top five places on the grid.

Ryan Blaney (+700)

While several Fords started among the top 10 in last year's race, Blaney wasn't one of them. The Team Penske driver was 20th on the grid last year.

He started the 2024 race from 18th position.

Austin Cindric (+850)

Cindric usually starts this race from near the front of the pack. He was second to begin last year's race.

He was fourth on the grid in 2024. Cindric started from eighth position in 2023.

Kyle Larson (+1000)

The reigning NASCAR Cup Series champ won the pole in 2022. He started last year's race from 10th on the grid.

Chris Buescher (+1000)

Buescher has performed consistently in Daytona 500 qualifying, if not consistently well. He began last year's race from 18th. Buescher was 17th on the grid in both 2024 and 2023.

Michael McDowell (+1100)

McDowell qualified second for the 2024 Daytona 500. However, surrounding that success, he was 17th last year, 34th in 2023, and 22nd in 2022.

Alex Bowman (+1400)

Three legendary drivers - Buddy Baker, Cale Yarborough, and Fireball Roberts - have won the Daytona 500 pole a record four times. Bowman needs one more to join this select group.

He was the pole sitter for the race in 2018, 2021, and 2023. Between 2018 and 2023, Bowman started six straight races from the front row.

Which Manufacturer Will Win The Pole?

Among the Daytona 500 NASCAR prop bets is a wager on which manufacturer will start the race from pole position. When Briscoe captured the pole for last year's race, he also made history. It was the first time a Toyota ever was the fastest qualifier for the Daytona 500.

Perhaps that explains the mixed signals when it comes to betting on the pole sitter. While Briscoe is the betting chalk to earn the pole, Toyota is the +325 longshot to be the manufacturer starting the race from that spot on the grid.

Chevrolet and Ford are the +140 co-favorites to earn pole position for the race. Logano's pole win in 2024 was the first for Ford since Carl Edwards in 2012.

Traditionally, Chevy has dominated pole position for the Daytona 500. Between 2013 and 2023, a Chevy started every Daytona 500 on the pole. This is the first time since 2004-05 that Chevrolet has gone two successive years without earning the pole for the race.

In total, Chevrolet has earned 32 poles. Ford has garnered 13 and Toyota only one.
