With Betts at the Dodgers and Machado at the Padres, they have stronger teams around them. As for Goldschmid, he is one of the main reasons the Cardinals are having a strong season. His credentials for MVP are growing by the week,
Who is the favorite to win the 2022 All-Stars Match?
BetOnline has the National League as the favorite at -109, with the American League at -101. Granted, there’s not much between the two sides on the Moneyline. And with such an array of talent on show from both teams, it’s not hard to see why.
So, where is the value then? The match itself looks like the toss of a coin, so can we find value in the handicap market and the over/under market? Let's have a look at the MLB All-Star Game odds.

MLB 2022 All-Stars Match Picks
On the over/under spread, eight seems to be the agreed dividing line between the top sportsbooks. We’ve got two well-matched sides here, with some of the best hitters in the MLB on the show but also some of the best pitchers in Baseball, making hitting home runs more difficult.
With it being an All-Star match, though, there is a tendency to expect it to be all-out action, and that isn’t always the case. That said, I’m struggling to come up with reasons to back under 8. So I’m going for over 8 for my betting pick in this market.
Who will win the 2022 All-Stars Match?
Finally, who will win the 2022 All-Stars match? Well, it does look like it's going to be a close call. For some reason, though, I’m edging towards the American League team. I just think they look stronger, despite the sportsbooks saying otherwise.
It really could go either way. But for me, my 2022 All-Stars betting pick is a win for the American League.
