Latest News On Possible Trump Indictment

Many people are unaware of the ENTIRE Trump indictment news story. There’s not just one case against the 45th President, there are actually multiple. Any one of them could land The Donald in prison. Let’s quickly cover the three most pressing situations.

You might’ve heard him say he was going to be arrested a week ago — a prediction that didn’t come to bear. But Trump was referencing an indictment from the Manhattan DA, which is the most recent charge. The office is investigating Trump’s “hush money” payment made to porn star Stormy Daniels. The affair happened in 2006, but the payment was done in 2016.

The year is an important detail because the criminal offense being alleged is Trump used campaign financing for his 2016 presidential bid to silence Daniels (she was given $135,000). That’s a felony in the state, and Trump’s ex-layer, Michael Cohen, already served jail time due in part to that campaign-finance violation.

A DA office in the state of Georgia (in Fulton County) is also investigating Trump, but for a completely separate issue — and a more important one in the eyes of the American public. The allegation is Trump solicited election fraud in 2020. He narrowly lost the state to Joe Biden, and investigators believe Trump might’ve tried to overturn or contest the results.

The last investigation comes from the U.S. Department of Justice. The DOJ has two separate probes on Trump. The first is about classified documents found at Trump’s Mar-a-Lago resort in Florida. You may remember the FBI raided the home last year and uncovered the mishandled documents. Probe two is also about the 2020 election and Trump’s attempts to alter the results.

Any one of these could strike at any moment in 2023 and land Trump in prison, completely unprecedented territory for a U.S. President. But will it ACTUALLY happen? We have a free pick below.

Trump Indictment Betting Pick

Trump’s false alarm about being arrested wasn’t a coincidence. It came shortly after he refused to testify in front of a New York grand jury. Typically, a testimony preludes an arrest. However, being as it’s Trump, that’s not necessarily the case this time. The “Trump factor” complicates matters, as well as making a correct betting pick on Trump’s indictment.

To us, this feels like political theater, which in 2023, most news events fall under. The Democrats want to paint Trump as a criminal, which in theory, would diminish his chances of winning the 2024 presidency, which he’s in the running for. For the Republicans, this is another sign that “the establishment” is out to get Trump. Both sides are winning the perception game with their voter base, and that’s all they really care about.

And like most of these news stories, nothing ever comes from them. How many times has Trump been investigated now for insert whatever charge you want? Russiagate? Impeachment? Do those two come to mind? Nothing — and we mean nothing — comes out of these besides news fodder and clicks. To us, these indictment scenarios fall into the same category. Our money is squarely on Trump not being arrested!
