The team boasts a formidable lineup with Ohtani, Mookie Betts, Freddie Freeman, and Teoscar Hernandez. While their offense is strong, there are concerns about their pitching staff due to injuries.
Walker Buehler, along with Jack Flaherty and Yoshinobu Yamamoto, will need to perform well for the Dodgers to advance to the World Series.

Philadelphia Phillies

The Phillies have a strong chance to clinch the NL Pennant with four frontline starters, a reliable bullpen, and a potent offense.
Milwaukee Brewers
The Brewers clinched their division with ease and don't appear to be as star-studded as other playoff teams. Their pitching has also been impressive, with a 3.64 ERA ranking second in the National League.
In addition, the bullpen has been outstanding in the second half of the season. The Brewers were ranked fourth in the Majors in relief innings, with only one other contender (Detroit) among the three teams ahead of them.

They showcased their speed, ending the season with the second-most stolen bases in the league. However, their lineup lacks major names, especially with Christian Yelich being injured. Nonetheless, they maintain a strong offense.

San Diego Padres

Atlanta Braves
Despite facing a series of season-ending injuries, such as the loss of key players like Ronald Acuna Jr., Austin Riley, and their ace, Spencer Strider, the Braves made the playoffs.
They have managed to maintain a strong lineup featuring Matt Olson, Marcel Ozuna, Ozzie Albies, Michael Harris, and Jorge Soler.

However, their efforts to secure a playoff spot have left them depleted, particularly after the Monday doubleheader. The injury to NL Cy Young frontrunner Chris Sale has come at the worst time.
The Braves must depend on the rest of their rotation, including Max Fried, Spencer Schwellenbach, and Charlie Morton.
New York Mets
The Mets have staged an impressive comeback after a rough start to the season. They went from 11 games under .500 to being arguably baseball's hottest team.
Francisco Lindor has had a standout season and could have been a top contender for the NL MVP if not for Shohei Ohtani's outstanding season.

Sean Manaea has also emerged as one of the game's top pitchers in the latter part of the season. The Mets secured a playoff spot after a remarkable comeback win against the Braves.
This allowed them to keep Luis Severino in reserve, giving them the option to start Sean Manaea in Game 2 and JosƩ Quintana in Game 3.
While their rotation looks solid overall, they may face challenges with Edwin DĆaz being unavailable for Game 1 and a thin bullpen.
