Marc Marquez Leading MotoGP Series

For a Spaniard, Marc Marquez sure feels at home in Germany. From 2012 through 2021, Marquez started eight German Grand Prix races. He won all eight of them.

In this season’s race, following Saturday qualifying will be the 15-lap sprint. The 30-lap main event race is set for Sunday at 8 a.m. EST around the 13-turn, 2.281-mile Sachsenring Circuit layout. Remember, the race odds could be changing based on the results of the qualifying round and the sprint race. That’s why it’s always wise to track the early outcomes. You’ll be able to see which riders are holding hot hands and are the best for you to bet.

Let's look at the top contenders for this race.

Marc Marquez (-300)

Even though he's won this race on eight occasions, Marquez hasn't won the German Grand Prix since 2021. However, he was third here in 2023 and wound up in second place last year.

This season, the Ducati Lenovo rider is coming to Sachsenring as the hottest rider on the circuit and sitting on the best equipment in the series.

Alex Marquez (+450)

The younger Marquez brother had a win on his home course in Spain during Round 5 of the series.

He's been second to his brother the past two races, among five times he's finished as runner up this season.

Francesco Bagnaia (+600)

Pecco won the Grand Prix of the Americas in Round 3 this season. Two weeks ago at the Dutch Grand Prix, the Italian rider turned the fastest lap of the race.

Still, over the past seven races, two-time world champion Bagnaia has finished better than third just once. Still, Bagnaia did win last year's German Grand Prix.

Marco Bezzecchi (+1000)

Italian rider Bezzecchi won the British Grand Prix and turned the fastest lap in that race. That was his first MotoGP victory since 2023.

The Aprilia rider has only produced podium finishes in two of 10 races during the 2025 season.

Franco Morbidelli (+2000)

Two races ago in the Italian Grand Prix, Morbidelli was able to produce the fastest lap of the race.

He's collected a pair of third-place finishes this year. Those are Morbidelli's only podium finishes over his past 59 MotoGP events.

Fabio Di Giannantonio (+2000)

The third rider for the Ducati Lenovo team behind Marc Marquez and Bagnaia, Di Giannantonio has never finished higher than eighth in the German Grand Prix.

He has shown one podium performance this season. That was a third-place finish in the Grand Prix of the Americas.

Latest MotoGP Championship Odds

With wins in more than half of the season's races and currently rolling along on a three-race win streak, Marc Marquez is also beginning to distance the field in MotoGP futures betting. At BetUS, the Spanish rider is set as the prohibitive odds-on-10000 chalk to ride on and win the MotoGP world championship title.

The chase for the championship is a family affair. It's Marc's younger brother, Alex Marquez, who is the second betting choice in this future book wager at a betting line of +2500. Bagnaia, at +4000, is the third betting choice. He's the only other rider being assigned odds shorter than +25000.

German Grand Prix MotoGP Best Bet

There's an old saying that you don't try and fix what isn't broken. And there's nothing about Marc Marquez in need of fixing at the moment.
