The NASCAR season traditionally begins with the Daytona 500. The 2026 race is scheduled for Sunday, February 15.

While the race is still a month away from taking the green flag, you don't have to wait that long to be placing your NASCAR wagers. Take advantage of the top mobile betting apps to make a bet wherever you might be in the course of your day.

The drivers will cover 200 laps to complete the 500 miles of this race. The Daytona 500 is divided into three stages of 65, 65, and 70 laps.

Joey Logano, the 2015 winner of the race, and Ryan Blaney are the +1000 co-favorites in this year's Daytona 500 NASCAR picks.

Before we get into the analysis and predictions on the best prop bets for this race, check out our how-to bet on NASCAR page.

Which Manufacturer Will Win The Race?

Among the early Daytona 500 NASCAR prop bets, Chevrolet and Ford are set as +140 co-favorites to win the race in a winning manufacturer prop play. A Chevrolet has won the past three races. Ford cars drove to victory in back-to-back Daytona 500 races in 2021 and 2022.

Among the top-five betting choices for this year's race are three Ford drivers (Blaney, Logano, Austin Cindric) and two Chevrolet drivers (William Byron, Chase Elliott).

It's +325 that a Toyota will win the race. Toyota's most recent Daytona 500 win came in 2020. In the NASCAR betting lines, Denny Hamlin (+1800) has the shortest odds of any Toyota driver. He was the winner of that 2020 race.

Picking The Winners of Each Daytona 500 Stage

Logano is the +500 favorite to win the first stage of the race. Blaney is the +650 second betting choice.

Both Logano and Blaney are co-betting choices at odds of +600 to be the winner of the second stage of the race.

Logano (first stage) and Blaney (second stage) were the stage winners in last year's race.

Best Bets To Finish Among The Daytona 500 Leaders

Blaney, Logano, and Cindric are the +325 co-favorites to land a top-three finish in the race. They are also the +180 betting choices to finish among the top five, and the -175 odds-on chalk to end the race among the top-10 finishers.

That might be a stretch for Cindric. Since his 2022 Daytona 500 victory, his only top-10 finish was an eighth-place performance in last year's race. That's also his only top-20 finish in the past three races.

Logano had five top-10 finishes in the Daytona 500 between 2015 and 2019. However, since that stretch, he's posted only one top-10 result. That was a second-place finish in 2023. In the last two Daytona 500 races, Logano finished 32nd (2024) and 35th (2025).

Among these three drivers, Blaney is the best bet in the NASCAR odds. He's been a top-10 finisher in six of the past nine Daytona 500s. Twice during that span, Blaney cracked the top three.

Plenty of special bets are also being offered on the race. For instance, it's even money that over 3.5 Toyota cars will finish in the top-10 of the race. In last year's race, Toyotas finished second (Tyler Reddick), third (Jimmie Johnson), fourth (Chase Briscoe), and fifth (John Hunter Nemechek).

The NASCAR odds are +125 that over 5.5 Chevrolet drivers finish among the top 10. Last year, there were three Chevys in the top 10, four in the top 11, and seven among the top-15 finishers.

Over 4.5 Ford drivers finishing among the top 10 is given a betting line of +150 in the NASCAR props. Three Fords finished in the top 10 of last year's race. After that, the next best Ford performance was Cole Custer in 21st.

The NASCAR betting odds are showing a line of +850 that the Stage 2 winner is also the race winner. It's +1000 that the Stage 1 winner also wins the race. And the chances that the same driver wins Stage 1, Stage 2, and is the race winner are set with a NASCAR betting line of +5000.

NASCAR Daytona 500 Winning Number Pick

It's better than even money that an even-numbered car will win the 2026 Daytona 500. The NASCAR betting line on an even-numbered car winning the race is set at -145. That's not surprising. Four of the past five winners - two-time winner William Byron (24), Cindric (2) and Michael McDowell (34) - drove even-numbered cars.

Only Ricky Stenhouse (47) in 2023 was able to drive an odd-numbered car down Victory Lane during that span. Four of the top-five best bets to win this year's race drive even-numbered cars. There's a definite pattern at work here. Go with an even-numbered car to win the 2026 Daytona 500 in the NASCAR picks.
