Top title contenders

Indiana (+700) has to replace Heisman Trophy-winning quarterback Fernando Mendoza along with other key players from their championship club. Coach Curt Cignetti has a proven ability to unearth and develop top talent, but the Hoosiers rank 44th in recruiting rankings over the last five years.

Notre Dame (+700), on the other hand, is tied for 6th in national recruiting after pulling in two top-10 classes in the past three years. The Fighting Irish also have a Heisman frontrunner in quarterback CJ Carr, an elite coach in Marcus Freeman and a ton of returning players on defense.

Potential longshots

Texas Tech (+1600) is coming off a 12-2 finish and their first CFP appearance, and Texas A&M (+1600) started 11-0 last season before losing their last two games.
