Oklahoma favored at home
Oklahoma is a 5.5-point home favorite in Norman on Saturday with the OVER/UNDER set at 45.5 points. This is only the second meeting between these two schools. It's also the Wolverines' first true road game against an SEC club in school history.
Oddly, last week's lookahead line had the Sooners favored by 2.5 to 3-points. However, the line moved in Oklahoma's direction after transfer quarterback John Mateer passed for 392 yards and three touchdowns in a 35-3 victory over Illinois State.

Underwood's debut
Freshman quarterback Bryce Underwood threw for 251 yards and a touchdown in a 34-17 win over New Mexico in Week 1. But it was transfer tailback Justice Haynes who stole the show, running for a career-high 159 yards and three scores.
Sherrone Moore will be making his return to his alma matter, as he played in Oklahoma in 2006 and 2007. Expect the Wolverines head coach to take the training wheels off Underwood, the former No. 1 overall recruit, this week.
Historical Betting Trends
Both the Sooners and Wolverines failed to cover big spreads last week. Michigan is 4-1 ATS in its last 5 outings while Oklahoma is 1-4.
The Sooners are also 2-4 against the spread in its last 6 contests as favorites. And Michigan is 13-4 ATS in its last 17 road games.
As for the 45.5 point over/under, the total has gone under in 5 of Oklahoma’s last 6 games against Big Ten squads. And its gone over in 14 of UM's last 19 matchups against SEC opponents.

Oklahoma Sooners vs Michigan Wolverines Picks
While both schools sport strong defenses, Michigan's was expected to be a top-five unit heading into the season. There's a recipe for an upset here if the Wolverines can put the clamps on Oklahoma after John Mateer dominated his cupcake week 1 matchup.
With poised freshman QB Bryce Underwood and explosive back Justice Haynes, we like Sherrone Moore's club to cover the spread in Norman and possibly come away with a road victory.
Take the Wolverines +5.5 (-110) with the UNDER 45.5 points.
