Three games into the NFL regular season, is it time to start worrying about the future of the Los Angeles Rams in the Super Bowl betting lines?

Oddsmakers certainly seem to think so. The preseason favorites in Super Bowl futures, the Rams maintained that status despite a middling start to the season. However, following their Week 3 loss to the Denver Broncos, the 1-2 Rams have relinquished the interim title.

Say hello to the Super Bowl-favored Buffalo Bills.

Josh Allen and company scrambled to beat the winless Los Angeles Chargers, but Buffalo still improved to 3-0. And the Bills moved to the top of the charts in Super Bowl futures.

Buffalo is now the +650 favorite to win this season’s Super Bowl game. The Rams are the second betting choice at +675. Next at +900 are the Baltimore Ravens and San Francisco 49ers, the only other NFL teams with a Super Bowl betting line shorter than +1000.

Futures markets are now reacting to roster moves, quarterback health, slow starts, and Week 3 outcomes. For all your news, views, and analysis, check out NFL betting.

Backup Plan

There are some familiar faces among the five unbeaten teams left three weeks into the NFL season. It's no surprise to see the Kansas City Chiefs, Buffalo Bills, and San Francisco 49ers all among the perfect squads so far in 2026. But the Minnesota Vikings? Especially considering that QB Kyler Murray has been injured, and when he wasn't hurt, his play was painful to watch. And anyone who tells you they had the Las Vegas Raiders down to open up 3-0 to start the year is what we like to call fibbers.
The lead in the AFC West and the chance to maintain hope of a perfect 17-0 season will be on the line at Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas as the 3-0 Raiders play host to the 3-0 Chiefs. The Raiders and Chiefs have been bitter rivals since the old AFL days of Len Dawson vs Daryle Lamonica. But it's been a long time since both teams were legit contenders. Back in 2016, both the Raiders and Chiefs finished 12-4. KC won the division title based on winning both head-to-head meetings with the Raiders. The Raiders made the postseason as the No. 5 seed in the AFC.
There's only one NFL division in which all four teams show winning records, and it's the AFC North. The Baltimore Ravens, Pittsburgh Steelers, Cincinnati Bengals, and Cleveland Browns are all 2-1. The Steelers (2-0), Browns (1-0), and Bengals (1-0) are all unbeaten at home. The Ravens (2-0) are unbeaten on the road. Weirdly enough, the Steelers (-7) and Browns (-17), who meet in another Week 4 battle of traditional divisional rivals, both show negative point differentials despite their winning slates.
Has it really been nearly a decade since Case Keenum engineered the Minneapolis Miracle and led the Vikings to the NFC Championship Game? Yes, that really all happened during the 2017 season. Yet there was Keenum on Monday Night Football, at the helm of another NFC North squad. Chicago's third-string QB led the Bears to a 27-7 thrashing of the Eagles. Revenge for that loss to Philadelphia all those years ago in that NFC title game? Probably not.
Chicago is just one of several NFL teams already starting a backup QB. Carson Wentz won two games for the unbeaten Vikings. Jayden Daniels (Commanders), Jaxson Dart (Giants), Baker Mayfield (Buccaneers), Caleb Williams (Bears), and Tua Tagovailoa (Falcons) are all starting QBs who are out with injuries. Seattle's Sam Darnold returned to action in Week 3 following a Week 1 injury.

What's next for OBJ?

With the news this week that the New York Giants were releasing veteran WR Odell Beckham Jr., there's already an NFL prop bet out there on what the next career move is for the former superstar.

Retirement is set as the -150 chalk in this prop play. Becoming a broadcaster is the +400 second betting choice.

If he does play again, OBJ is favored to join the Baltimore Ravens (+750). The Los Angeles Rams (+850) and Kansas City Chiefs (+1000) are other top contenders in a potential OBJ sweepstakes.

Is Kane really keen to change footballs?

England soccer captain Harry Kane played his brand of football in the USA this summer during the FIFA World Cup. Now there's speculation that he might want to come back and have a go at American football.

The Bayern Munich star has suggested that he may sign to play in the MLS and then also give it a go as an NFL placekicker. What are the chances that this happens?

A prop wager on this outcome says it's +1600 that Kane will play in the NFL. A price of +3000 is assigned to the chances that it will be an NFC or AFC team. And you'll get +10000 odds that Kane kicks the longest field goal of the season in his NFL debut campaign.

Super Bowl odds movers: biggest risers, fallers and value bets

Biggest risers

Buffalo Bills (+650)

The Bills have gone from the AFC team with the shortest betting line to win the Super Bowl to the NFL team with the shortest betting line to win the Super Bowl. Buffalo's Super Bowl odds shortened from +750 to +650, and the Bills leapfrogged the Rams to become the Super Bowl chalk.

The Bills turned the ball over five times against the Chargers, showed a minus-four turnover ratio, and still won the game.

San Francisco 49ers (+900)

For the third week in a row, the Super Bowl futures market on the 49ers shortened. They were at +1400 to win the big game following their Week 1 dismantling of the Rams, and +1200 in Week 2.

Fifth-year QB Brock Purdy is being touted as an NFL MVP candidate. In coming back from a January Achilles tear, TE George Kittle looks like himself. He shares the lead among tight ends with three TD catches. Kittle is fifth among all TEs in receiving yards (174) and 11th in receptions (12).

Kansas City Chiefs (+1000)

It's the 3-0 Chiefs vs. the 3-0 Raiders for AFC West supremacy in Las Vegas this weekend. KC QB Patrick Mahomes is third among NFL QBs in wins for his first 10 seasons since 1950. KC shortened from +1200 to win the Super Bowl.

The Chiefs were able to rest some key players, including RB Kenneth Walker III, in the Week 3 win over the winless Dolphins. Walker has already gained 442 scrimmage yards and scored four touchdowns.

Biggest Fallers

Los Angeles Rams (+675)

The Bears just posted a culture-defining win over the Eagles in Week 3. Could a Week 4 triumph over Philly help right the ship for the 1-2 Rams?

The Rams have lost to two good teams (49ers, Broncos) and beat a bad team (Giants). They went from +650 to +675 and were surpassed by the Bills as the Super Bowl chalk. LA lost DL Myles Garrett to injury, while a groin ailment continues to slow WR Puca Nacua.

Philadelphia Eagles (+1600)

A 27-7 drubbing handed them by the Bears dropped the 2-1 Eagles from the ranks of the unbeaten. Philly also lengthened from +1500 to +1600 in the Super Bowl betting lines.

The Eagles lost in September for the first time since 2024. But in all honesty, Philly wasn't impressive while opening 2-0 with wins over the Titans and Commanders. With the Rams and Jaguars up next, it could get ugly fast in the City of Brotherly Love.

Houston Texans (+3000)

Here they go again. For the second straight season, the Texans have opened the NFL season 0-3. Only two NFL teams have ever started 0-3 and made the playoffs. Interestingly, it was the Texans in 2025 and 2018.

Houston's Super Bowl odds lengthened from +2000 to +2200 to +3000 since the start of the season. Houston has a stout defense, but the offense couldn't find the end zone with GPS.

Best value left on the board

Las Vegas Raiders (+8000)

The Raiders are the first team in the Super Bowl era to draft a quarterback first overall and then start the regular season 3-0. Can Fernando Mendoza lead Indiana to a national title and the Raiders to the Super Bowl in successive years?

The Raiders are still a long shot to win the big game at +8000. But then, entering the season in Week 1, at +15000, the Raiders were offering the fifth-worst betting line to win the Super Bowl of any NFL team.

Chicago Bears (+3000)

Bouncing back with an impressive 27-7 win over Philadelphia behind 38-year-old QB3 Case Keenum, it felt like a season-defining win for the Bears.

When QB1 Caleb Williams was hurt in a Week 2 loss to the Vikings, Chicago's Super Bowl odds jumped from +2400 to +4000. Following the Week 3 rout of Philly, the Bears have again shortened to +2400 in Super Bowl futures.
