Let's look at the top rinks at the Olympic men's curling competition.
Great Britain (-105)
Mouat's rinks won the world championship in 2023 and 2025. He was the silver medalist at the 2022 Winter Olympic Games.
Canada (+300)
Brad Jacobs skipped Canada to the 2014 Olympic gold medal. He's back with an entirely new rink that includes two other Olympic gold medal winners - lead Ben Hebert (2010) and third Marc Kennedy (2010). Second Brett Gallant was a world champ in 2017.
Switzerland (+440)
Swiss skip Yannick Schwaller lost to Mouat in the 2025 World Championship final. He won a bronze medal at the 2023 worlds. His rink lost the final at the Swiss trials for the right to go to the 2022 Winter Olympics.
Germany (+1500)
Marc Muskatewitz has skipped Germany at the past two worlds, finishing fifth and eighth, respectively. He was the 2024 European champion.
Sweden (+2200)
Sweden's Niklas Edin is the only curler in history with three Olympic medals - gold (2022), silver (2018), and bronze (2014). He's also an eight-time world champion.
Men's Olympic Curling Best Bet
Jacobs will be looking to make Olympic history in Cortina. No man has ever skipped two Olympic gold medal-winning rinks.
To do so, he'll likely have to avenge his 2025 loss to Mouat at the worlds. But backed by a team that features two other Olympic gold medalists, Jacobs has the rink to get it done. Go with Jacobs to win in the men's Olympic curling picks.
Women's Olympic Curling Top Contenders
The women's Olympic curling competition begins with round-robin play on February 12. It will wrap up on February 19. Semifinals are set for February 20. The bronze medal will be decided on February 21, with the gold medal determined on February 22.
Let's look at the top rinks at the Olympic women's curling competition.
Canada (-210)
It's second-chance time for Canadian skip Homan, the reigning world champion. She represented Canada at the 2018 Winter Olympic Games in PyeongChang, South Korea. However, Homan lost her first three games, becoming the first Canadian rink to begin Olympic competition 0-3. Homan failed to qualify for the medal round.

It was a rare blip on what's been an historic career for the Canadian curler. Homan was also world champion in 2017 and 2024. She's won the Canadian championship five times.
Switzerland (+430)
With six world titles, Swiss skip Alina Patz is the winningest female player in world championship history. Patz competed in the 2014 and 2022 Winter Olympics, finishing fourth on each occasion.
Sweden (+650)
Anna Hasselborg skipped Sweden to the 2018 women's Olympic curling gold medal. Four years later, she won the bronze medal.
In 2019, Hasselborg became the first curler in history to be the holder of the European Curling Championship gold medal, the World Mixed Doubles Curling Championship gold medal, and the Olympic gold medal at the same time.
South Korea (+2200)
South Korean skip Gim Eun-ji will be competing in her second Olympiad. She finished eighth at Sochi in 2014 with a 3-6 record.
Gim has competed in six world championships. She won a bronze medal in 2024.
Japan (+2700)
Sayaka Yoshimura has represented Japan in the 2015, 2021, and 2025 World Championships. She was the Pacific-Asia champion in 2021.
Denmark (+5500)
Madeleine Dupont will be skipping a Danish rink at the Olympics for the fourth time. She's also competed in 14 World Championships, winning silver (2007) and bronze (2009) medals.
China (+6000)
Chinese skip Wang Rui is entering her third successive Olympics. She's also been China's representative at the worlds on six occasions. Wang won a bronze medal at the 2025 World Championship.
Women's Olympic Curling Best Bet
An Olympic gold medal is the last bauble missing from the impressive trophy chest at the Homan household. Coming into the Olympiad as the reigning world champion, she's certainly poised to win.
Look for Homan to make up for her 2018 stumble. Go with the Canadian to skip the gold medal rink in the 2026 Olympic curling picks.
