Korea Open Best Bets And Betting Tips

World No. 4 Amanda Anisimova, who might've given Swiatek a greater challenge here, withdrew from the WTA Korea Open at the last minute. Anisimova just beat Swiatek in the US Open quarterfinals.

Two of the last three winners of this tournament are entered in this year's event. Alexandrova won the WTA Korea Open in 2022. Beatriz Haddad Maia is the defending champion.

Let's take a look at all of this year's top contenders.

Iga Swiatek (-120)

The Polish star is 12-2 in her past 14 hard-court matches. That includes winning the title at the Cincinnati Open.

Swiatek says the foot injury that affected her performance in that US Open loss to Anisimova has healed. She's made it as far as the quarterfinals in seven of her last nine tournament appearances.

Ekaterina Alexandrova (+450)

Alexandrova beat top-seeded Jelena Ostapenko 7–6(7-4), 6–0 to win the 2022 Korea Open as the No. 2 seed. She's also the second seed in this year's event.

The world No. 11 is 38-19 this season, with a win in the Upper Austria Ladies Linz on a hard-court surface.

Clara Tauson (+550)

The 12th-ranked WTA Player, Tauson is just 1-3 over her past four matches. The 22-year-old Dane did recently beat Swiatek 7-6(7-1), 6-3 in the Round of 16 at the Canadian Open.

Emma Raducanu (+1400)

Granted a wildcard entry into this tournament, Raducanu is the No. 8 seed. Luckily for the Brit ranked No. 33 in the world, there's only 28 players entered in the WTA Korea Open. Raducanu has failed to advance beyond the Round of 32 in four of her last five tournaments.

Beatriz Haddad Maia (+1400)

Haddad Maia definitely likes the Korean experience. Along with her win in last year's final, the Brazilian player reached the 2017 WTA Korea Open final. Haddad Maia lost in three sets to Ostapenko.

Daria Kasatkina (+1600)

Kasatkina lost 6-1, 4-6, 1-6 to Haddad Maia in the 2024 Korea Open final. The Australian is the No. 4 seed in this year's tournament. Kasatkina is ranked 16th in the WTA.

Maya Joint (+1600)

World No. 46 Joint has gone six straight tournaments without advancing beyond the Round of 32. The 19-year-old Australian won the Eastbourne Open earlier this year.

WTA Korea Open Prop Bets

The first quarter, Swaitek's quarter of the draw, is the -150 odds-on favorite to produce the tournament winner in WTA Korea Open prop bets.

Swiatek is the -350 chalk to win the first quarter, but her path isn't without obstacles. Both Raducanu (+400) and Barbora Krejcikova are in the same quarter of the draw.

Tauson is the -150 favorite to emerge as the winner of the second quarter. Kasatkina (+175), Katarina Siniakova (+260), and Diana Shnaider (+300) are all strong contenders in the third quarter of the draw. Alexandrova is the -165 best bet to capture the fourth quarter, ahead of Haddad Maia (+210).

The top half of the draw is the -350 choice in tennis betting to provide the winning player of this event. You'll access +250 in the tennis betting odds if you wager on the bottom half to produce a winner.

If you bet on there being an unseeded finalist, that wager comes with odds of +175. Unseeded Yuan Yue made it to the 2023 WTA Korean Open final. A yes bet on a qualifier making it to the final comes with a betting line of +900. Qualifier Aliaksandra Sasnovich reached the 2015 final of this event.

And The Winner Is . . .

The form charts tend to hold firm in this tournament, which certainly bodes well for Swiatek's chances. The top-seeded player has reached each of the past five WTA Korea Open finals. However, they've only won the tournament once in that span.
