It is not the biggest one in Vegas; a place like Mandalay Bay is going to have a much larger setup. But the MGM Grand sportsbook is still among the enjoyable—and its intimate size is part of that charm.

MGM Grand Sportsbook Location
Getting to the MGM Grand is straightforward. The property sits at 3799 Las Vegas Boulevard South, just minutes from Harry Reid International Airport (formerly McCarran), though actual travel time depends on traffic.
Parking comes at a premium. Self-parking is currently around $20 per day in 2025, while valet service is available at roughly $40 per day. These charges apply to both hotel guests and visitors.
Because of the resort’s central location on the Strip, many visitors prefer taxis or rideshare services to avoid parking fees. Driving or renting a car in Las Vegas can end up costing more once you factor in daily rates, parking, and valet charges.
Place Your Bets at the MGM Grand Sportsbook
Any thorough study of the MGM Grand sportsbook will reveal an operation that's rooted in optimizing the number of offerings and bets that they take in. And relative to those standards, they're doing a great job.
All of their odds are made independently, so you can be sure they will be available right when they open. Need MGM NFL or NBA lines? You'll have them when the doors are unlocked. It is the same story for MGM college football odds and even futures like MGM odds to win the Super Bowl. These lines are refreshed each morning to reflect the latest odds.
The MGM Grand sportsbook adjusts its hours on a rolling basis, often extending them in the days leading up to major events. Expect longer availability around hallmark horse races and the college football national championship, when demand is at its peak.
Once inside the sportsbook, you’ll find sleek aesthetics paired with modern technology. The MGM sportsbook lines are displayed and updated in real time, and the room is filled with more screens than you’ll know what to do with—including 36 65-inch LCDs and 24 42-inch plasmas.
The main floor offers seating for 104 guests, and each spot provides a clear view of the action. For a more private experience, the venue also has four luxury skyboxes available for reservation, each accommodating up to 10 guests (with some configurations allowing for as many as 20, complete with beverage service). As with all Las Vegas sportsbooks, you must be 21 or older to enter and wager. On major event days, especially during championship games, expect the space to fill quickly—so reservations or early arrival are highly recommended.
The MGM Grand sportsbook also runs plenty of seasonal events and contests depending on the time of year. These are available most often during the NFL and college football seasons, though they will break them out for the NBA Finals, Stanley Cup Finals, World Series, etc.
For a different type of betting experience, you also have the option of visiting the BetMGM Sportsbook and Bar. It is located on the MGM Grand property, right next to Juniper, and it gives you the chance to gamble on games and futures in a contemporary dining room setting that's non-smoking, features plenty of screens, extensive food and drink menu, and even a miniature bowling alley.
Essentially, this is like a sportsbook restaurant. On steroids. The hours of operation will once again vary, but they often mirror those from the main sportsbook during regular times. Overall, you can expect it to remain open until at least 10 p.m. This is yet again a place you'll want to avoid during peak contests, as its 250 to 300 guest capacity is reached often during championship tilts.
As yet another form of betting, MGM has the BetMGM app that permits you to place wagers from your mobile device. Winnings can then be transferred to your account digitally or claimed at the physical sportsbook. Just note that you must be in the state of Nevada for the app to work.

Staying at the MGM Grand
The MGM Grand is among the Vegas hotels that run themselves like a vacation resort.
With 5,044 rooms, the MGM Grand is one of the largest hotels in Las Vegas and is designed to deliver a full-service resort experience. Guests can choose from more than 10 restaurants ranging from fine dining to casual spots resembling cafés and delis. The property also features a selection of upscale clothing and specialty shops—smaller than the mega-mall setups elsewhere on the Strip, but convenient if you’re looking to browse or pick up something stylish without leaving the resort.
In 2025, the standard non-suite rooms at the MGM Grand remain spacious compared to many other properties on the Strip. Rates can start as low as $49 per night during off-peak periods, though prices vary widely by season and demand. Guests should also plan for a daily resort fee of about $45 (plus tax), which covers amenities such as Wi-Fi, fitness center access, use of the pool, business facilities, and 24/7 room service.
Nightlife entertainment is always just steps away at the MGM Grand. The resort features a variety of clubs and bars, along with Cirque du Soleil’s acclaimed show KÀ, which continues to draw rave reviews in 2025 as one of the Strip’s most spectacular productions. Tickets frequently sell out, so it’s best to check availability online before finalizing your trip.
Does all of this mean you won't want to leave the MGM Grand and go explore the rest of The Strip? Not all. But if you wanted to, you could absolutely spend all your time here without ever growing bored.
