2025 NFL Playoff Bets Fly With The Atlanta Falcons

2025 NFL playoff bets fly with the Atlanta Falcons. Naturally, anger expects to rise here. Why did we not include the Tampa Bay Buccaneers? Do not worry, we will mention them in a bit. Anyhow, the Atlanta Falcons were stacked and picked by quite a few pundits to win the NFC South last year. The season played out and everything that could go wrong for the Falcons did.

Yes, some worry with anything that comes from the NFC South that is not Tampa Bay. At Online Sports Betting, we know this is a risk. However, what if Tampa Bay falters in any way? One of Atlanta's biggest problems in 2024 was their record against the AFC. Going 1-4 was probably a lot worse than losing twice in the division. Also, keep in mind, Atlanta and Tampa Bay were both 8-7 through 15 games. The division and a playoff spot was there for the taking.

Now, Michael Penix Jr. will start the season as the number one quarterback. For bettor or worse, that creates some continuity. There will be no awkward juggling acts or walking on eggshells now. Cousins is clearly the backup. If he bounces back, that could be insurance later. Right now, that is not a concern. Bijan Robinson will have an even better offensive line too. As it was, Robinson ran for over 1400 yards and caught 61 passes for 431 yards. That dual threat will play a huge part in this 2025 offense.

Some keep hoping that Tampa Bay is counted on by more and more people and pundits to win the NFC South. Again, the belief is that two teams will not make the playoffs from the South. What if Bucky Irving and Baker Mayfield drop a peg or two? Oh my! Atlanta is again a possibility to consider now rather than later.

Oh No The Pittsburgh Steelers Again?

2025 NFL playoff bets almost dare to say oh no the Pittsburgh Steelers again? One of the craziest things last year might have been Pittsburgh even making the playoffs. They just seem to find a way. If Mike Tomlin can get a Russell Wilson led team into the postseason then Aaron Rodgers is a possibility too. Again, this comes down to running and defense. The Steelers were 8th in points allowed and 12th in yards allowed. If they do this again, we may have to go down the rabbit hole once more.

The numbers say Pittsburgh is far from a dominant team. However, could they win four or five road games? Absolutely. T.J. Watt will be healthy and their defense should prove to be just enough of a strength. On the offensive side, the line figures to be improved too. No one is expecting dramatic gains. Do not expect the Steelers to start 10-3, but a good September will not surprise anyone at all. Yes, Pittsburgh could be 4-0 heading into October. The Jets, Seahawks, Patriots, and even Vikings are beatable.

The good news for Pittsburgh is that Cleveland and Cincinnati can easily stumble and early. Building up a cushion again may be healthy as the Steelers battle for a wild card spot. Baltimore is going to win the division. The question is by how much.

Going bolder and bolder with our picks at OSB dictates taking a shot with the Steelers to find a way again with Mike Tomlin. Keeping games close in December may even help Pittsburgh steal a win or two perhaps.

2025 NFL Playoff Bets Get Command Of The Ship

Finally, 2025 NFL Playoff Bets get command of the ship. The Washington Commanders were the feel good story of last year. Rookie quarterback Jayden Daniels ran and passed his way to 12 wins and an NFC Championship spot. This will not be easy and could be one of the most volatile bets, period!

Washington will not be horrible in 2025 at all. Philadelphia is the obvious favorite to repeat as NFC East Champions. Will the Eagles win the Super Bowl again? That is for another time. This is about if the Commanders can make the playoffs again. With the Terry McLaurin trade request, this training camp is already off to an inauspicious start. McLaurin wants to get paid and is in the final year of his deal. The more of a distraction this becomes, the better chances for a miss are at least plausible.

Assuming a tougher schedule and a few losses that were wins last year, we take the plunge that Washington wins 9 or 10 games and just misses out on the postseason. Regression is our friend in what may be our riskiest wager yet.
