GTBets Sportsbook Review
Approaching a decade in business, GTBets has established themselves as a pretty solid sportsbook all around. They have an excellent reputation in the sports betting community, proving to be trustworthy and overall a great sportsbook to use by both novice bettors and more intermediate to professional sports bettors.
Located and licensed in Curacao, they still offer a great product to residents of the United States, as they have for a number of years. They specifically target North Americans with their product, focusing on North American sports, offering USD currency as its main option, and having a mainly English language focus on their site.
You can count on some great bonuses and promotions, fairly reasonable sports betting limits, and even a great selection of casino games, which makes GTBets an excellent competitor for the bigger, more well-known sportsbooks.
Sign Up Process at GTBets Sportsbook
The sign-up process at GTBets is comparable and extremely simple to do.
Front and center on their homepage they show you the few steps it takes between hitting that sign up button and actually placing a wager. Once you hit join, you’ll be prompted to fill out your personal information like your name, location, email, and phone number, and you will also need to create a username and password. It will also ask if you’ve been referred by anyone, and this is where you’d enter the name of the person who directed you to the site.
GTBets requires you to be over the age of 18 to bet on sports, so confirming ensures that you are of age to bet.
GTBets Sportsbook Website
GTBets website is just okay in our opinion. While they do have a mobile site, it is very different from their desktop page. You can still use the site on your mobile, but we have seen plenty of other sportsbooks with excellent mobile responsiveness and compatibility. The desktop site isn’t responsive as well, so you could run into issues there on tablets, etc.
Cosmetically, the site is alright, they have very flashy and colorful graphics, sometimes too flashy in our opinion, many just want a clean, easy to read the site to bet on, and all of the colors - the black, orange, and bright blue just don’t draw our eye well.
GTBets is available to United States residents but is blocked in several states. It’s important to know you cannot use GTBets in Arkansas, Delaware, District of Columbia, Indiana, Iowa, Kentucky, Louisiana, Maryland, Mississippi, Missouri, New Jersey, New Mexico, New York, Nevada, Oregon, Pennsylvania, Rhode Island, Washington, and West Virginia.
They have a great selection of odds and lines for all North American sports, as well as some international markets.
GTBets Sportsbook Bonuses
GTBets has a few great bonuses available to go along with their excellent promotions: Welcome Bonuses
GTBets offers a great 150% in sign up bonuses: a 100% match bonus up to $500 on your first deposit, and a second 50% match bonus up to $250 on your second deposit. All you need to do is sign up and make a minimum deposit of $35 to $500, and you will receive a 100% match, which essentially doubles your balance.
You will need to play through this amount 12 times, and you will receive points for each of your wagers that will contribute to your rollover. You will receive 5 points for every $10 wagered on sports.
The best part about GTBets’ reload bonus is that it’s automatic. You can easily be credited with cash reload bonus and it will be automatically added to your account with your permission. You must, of course, qualify for the bonus, by having either:
- A balance equal to or less than 25% of your previous deposit amount
- If your last transaction was not a withdrawal
- You have a segmented account
Before accepting the bonus, check out the rollover requirement, as the bonuses will all have different rollover requirements depending on which bonus you qualify for.
GTBets Sportsbook Promotions
GTBets has a few great promotions available for gamblers to take advantage of:
Favorite Teams Promotion
Select your favorite teams and GTBets will offer you a free half point on one team of the NFL, College Football, NBA, and College Basketball. You can only have one team per league, and you will be stuck with that team for the entire season. You will receive a free half point on every regular-season game. If your team is the Baltimore Ravens and they’re listed at -3 favorites, you will get the line at -2.5.
Each Tuesday at 4 pm ET, you can take advantage of a 10% weekly casino rebate. GTBets has a special formula to determine who qualifies for the rebate. They deduct casino wins, casino losses, bonuses, rewards cash and rebates, and determine your casino loss, and will credit your casino account with 10% of this amount.
Free Spin Bonuses
GTBets offers a few free spin bonuses for you to take advantage of. They have some play now, deposit later free spins, deposit free spins, and instant free spins. To qualify for these free spins, you will have to follow the same criteria as the Reload Bonus.
GTBets Betting Markets
As we mentioned, GTBets focuses heavily on North American sports and betting markets. You will find popular sports like the NFL, NBA, MLB, NHL, MLS, and college sports available on their odds board. You can also find plenty of tennis, golf, and boxing, or MMA options as well.
You can find plenty of betting options for each and every game, including straight-up bets, moneylines, over/unders, spreads, parlays, teasers, round robins, half times, quarters, futures, props, live betting, and more.
GTBets Banking Options
There are a few popular deposit methods that bettors tend to look for when signing up at GTBets. Be sure to check the available deposit and withdrawal options before signing up because they aren’t universal and each sportsbook has different options available.
If you plan to bet via cryptocurrency, GTBets has a few options available like Bitcoin, Bitcoin Cash, and Litecoin. These all have a minimum deposit of $35, and a maximum of $2,000. The funds can be deposited in your account within two to four hours.
Popular credit cards like Mastercard, Visa, and American Express are also accepted at GTBets. You can make a minimum deposit of $35, and a maximum of $999, and you could have the funds in your account instantly.
When it comes to withdrawals, there are few options. You can request a withdrawal from GTbets via Bitcoin, Wire Transfer, or Quickcash.
With a Bitcoin withdrawal, you can only withdraw between $300 and $5,000, and it will take about 24 hours, and the best part is that there are no fees to do so.
A wire transfer can be requested on amounts between $100 and $5,000 but will have a fee of $40 to process. This can also take up to 12 days to process, so if you’re in a rush, this would not be a great option for you.
QuickCash is also available, it appears there are no limits on the amounts you can withdraw, but there is a fee of $50, or 8% of your withdrawal amount. This can take up to 24 hours to process.
GTBets has a great casino offering, some may argue that the casino is better than the sportsbook. Using Betsoft definitely helps, and creates a great environment for those who like to bet on both casino and sports. They have 178 brand name slots, some even being 5-reel 3D slots. There are many table games available like Tri Card Poker, Craps, Pirate 21, Super 7 Blackjack, Baccarat, Pai Gow, and even War.
You will not be disappointed with the variety of video poker games available at GTbets. They have some classics, as well as newer games.
GTBets Sportsbook Customer Support
GTBets has a great customer support staff. There are several ways to get in touch, whether it be phone, email or live chat. They do, however, only have customer support in English. Their phone support is only available from 10 am to 4 pm EST which can be an issue if you are betting during their off-hours.
GTBets Sportsbook Betting Limits
GTBets does have some betting limits that keep bettors from winning too big. That means they tend to focus more on the novice sports bettor, the ones who are betting recreationally and not to earn a living.
Most lines are limited to $1,000, which is rather high for most beginners or novice bettors. But if you’re just betting for fun, betting a few hundred on a game or even in a week, you will enjoy using GTBets.
