Oscar Piastri was the winner in last year's Azerbaijan Grand Prix, and oddsmakers are anticipating more of the same this year. Expecting a return to form, Formula 1 Series leader Piastri is the +150 favorite to win this race.

The Italian Grand Prix witnessed a rarity during the 2025 F1 season. The McLarens didn't win. Lando Norris finished second and Piastri third, as Red Bull's Max Verstappen won the race.

Before the Italian Grand Prix, McLaren-Mercedes drivers Piastri and Norris had run 1-2 in four of the previous five F1 races. Norris has won three of the past six races. Series leader Piastri was the winner of two of the previous four races.

In Formula 1 odds, Norris is the +160 second betting choice to win the Azerbaijan Grand Prix. One of either Norris or Piastri has won seven out of the past nine races.

Let's take a look at the latest Azerbaijan Grand Prix odds from the leading online sportsbooks. Remember, odds are always subject to change.

Oscar Piastri (+150)

Series leader Piastri has posted podium finishes in 15 of 17 races this season. A slow pit stop late in the Italian Grand Prix by Norris enabled Piastri to grab second spot from his teammate.

However, McLaren's team orders to Piastri were that he surrender second place back to Norris. The team felt it was their fault that Norris had lost his place on the track. Norris ended up second, with Piastri in third.

Lando Norris (+160)

Norris has finished either first or second in nine of the last 11 races. He's won four of the past nine races.

Following his DNF in the Dutch Grand Prix, the second-place finish by Norris in Italy moved him to within 31 points of Piastri in the F1 World Championship standings.

Max Verstappen (+400)

His Italian Grand Prix victory brought a third win of the season for four-time world champion Verstappen.

His third-place finish on his home course in the Dutch Grand Prix ended a four-race stretch without a podium finish for Verstappen. He won the 2023 Azerbaijan Grand Prix.

Charles Leclerc (+900)

Ferrari's Leclerc continues to hunt for the team's first win of the 2025 season. He was fourth in the Italian GP, following a sixth in the Dutch GP.

Leclerc ran second in the 2024 Azerbaijan Grand Prix.

George Russell (+2000)

What looked like it could develop into a promising season for Russell following his Canadian Grand Prix win is fading away.

The Mercedes driver has one podium finish in six races since that win. He was third in Hungary. Russell ran fifth in Italy, following a fourth in the Dutch GP.

Lewis Hamilton (+2500)

The seven-time world champion's woes are displaying no signs of ending. His Ferrari was 12th in Italy, following a DNF in the Dutch GP.

Hamilton is still seeking his first podium finish of 2025.

Best Azerbaijan GP Prop Bets

Considering that he was second in this race last year, getting +110 on Leclerc recording a podium finish seems like a reasonable play in F1 props. Leclerc is also given Formula 1 betting odds of +150 to win a race before the end of the 2025 season.

McLaren is set as the -275 favorite to be the winning car in the Azerbaijan Grand Prix for the second year in a row. Red Bull (four) and Mercedes (two) both have more wins on this course than McLaren, though.

Piastri The Pick In Formula 1 Championship Futures

Despite his third-place finish in the Dutch Grand Prix, Piastri retains the confidence of oddsmakers in Formula 1 futures. The Australian driver is the overwhelming -375 chalk to win his first F1 world championship.

Also seeking his first title, Norris is given odds of +250 of achieving that objective. Even with his win in the Dutch Grand Prix, Verstappen remains a distant third in this betting market at +5000.

Azerbaijan Grand Prix Betting Pick

McLaren hasn't gone two races in a row without a win yet this season. Following each of Verstappen's previous two wins this season, Norris won at Monaco and Piastri won in China. So who gets the nod this time?
