Francesco Bagnaia - Even With 2023 British MotoGP Bets
Francesco Bagnaia opened the early numbers at -150 to -175 for the 2023 British MotoGP Bets. In the last week, there was some good news as the numbers moved all the way to Even on Bovada. That surprised a few pundits and stunned some fans definitely. It was a pleasant surprise given again those World Championship numbers. Those provide no value whereas that new Bovada line offers potential.
Arguably, this first race may be more vital to Bagnaia than anyone else. He stands a chance to lengthen his lead and make a statement. Message sending is common in MotoGP, but this would be a huge one. The Italian rider carries a 35-point lead on Jorge Martin and a 36-point cushion on Marco Bezzecchi. While that's not Fabio Quartararo lead territory, this season feels a bit different for some reason.
For one, the Ducati that Bagnaia rides seems to be getting better as the season goes along. TT Circuit Aasen showed us how the Italian could hold the lines, speed, and most importantly the lead. Last year at Silverstone, Bagnaia held off Maverick Vinales and Jack Miller by less than a second. There is little reason to dispute that from happening once again.
MotoGP British Picks Explore A Few More Options?
2023 MotoGP British Picks attempt to explore a few more options. Marc Marquez and Joan Mir are probably out of the picture at this point. Fabio Quartararo likely meets the same fate. There are a handful of riders who can best Bagnaia even in the worst of conditions.
From early statistics, Ducati looks ready to roll for Silverstone. It will be interesting to see what Brad Binder does in the Red Bull though. If conditions are less than ideal, Binder carries a decent shot. That +1400 from MyBookie warrants some further examination. Another rider is obviously Maverick Vinales who finished second last year and was debatably faster than Bagnaia. He made one mistake and it cost him the win. Vinales is also +1400 across the board.
Could Marco Bezzecchi carry the speed from the Sprint to the Race this time? Better yet, can Jorge Martin replicate his German performance? There are choices but Binder as a medium shot is worth a small wager.
Those Longer Shots?
The question gets asked what about those longer shots? Aleix Espargaro looked good at Norway in both races. The Spaniard showed early good form last year but has not this season. Maybe this is a sign of things to come.
