The MotoGP Grand Prix season restarts in Silverstone this weekend with the usual Sprint on Saturday and race on Sunday. Meanwhile, new numbers have come to us from the books. Let's roll into MotoGP online betting season bets right this minute. Quite a few changes occurred over the past month.

The speeds rolling in from the bikes will be great to see once again. We love all the tests and crave the sprints and race action even more. Absence makes the heart grow fonder. Simply, can some teams surprise us enough to change our picks? Now, here are the latest 2023 MotoGP race numbers for the contenders approaching the race at Silverstone this weekend.

Online betting sites like Bovada saw a bi of a chance and posted some earlier than usual numbers this week. The MotoGP campaign begins anew. This is why betting on MotoGP futures can be a challenge. Trends change all the time and the bye seemed to affirm the possibility of a repeat and odds just lengthening for riders not named Francesco Bagnaia. Again, this is not an exact science.

Finally, peruse through our many reviews of the best online sportsbooks. They will give you consistent MotoGP betting sites as the season rolls on through the month of August and beyond.

2023 British MotoGP Bets - What Changed From The End Of June?

Idle time breeds dangerous times. Why? There are no bets to be made and surely some got sucked into the futures market a little too hard. Would anyone bet Francesco Bagnaia in the -500 to -700 range right now? Absolutely not. Now, the 2023 British MotoGP Bets attempt to figure out which teams improved and those that regressed. What changed from the end of June? That's a great question.

Our ideas follow down below. Again, these opening numbers come to us with more than three days until the race at Silverstone. Normally, we are praying to see these by very late Thursday or Thursday night. It does seem most books are rolling with what has worked so far. It does seem like only a select few riders are really in the World Championship mix. How about the Monster Energy British Grand Prix?

Over the past couple months, Marc Marquez looks very uncomfortable at Honda. Though most of the contenders are staying with their current teams, it will be interesting to see what happens with Enea Bastianini and a few others down the road. One thing is certain. Expect much uncertainty over these final 13 races. It will be great to see some live racing from Silverstone at last. Thanks again to Peacock for streaming options in the United States.

So, who might have a leg up on what figures to be an interesting points race to start August anyway? First, let's see who may win on Sunday.

Francesco Bagnaia - Even With 2023 British MotoGP Bets

Francesco Bagnaia opened the early numbers at -150 to -175 for the 2023 British MotoGP Bets. In the last week, there was some good news as the numbers moved all the way to Even on Bovada. That surprised a few pundits and stunned some fans definitely. It was a pleasant surprise given again those World Championship numbers. Those provide no value whereas that new Bovada line offers potential.

Arguably, this first race may be more vital to Bagnaia than anyone else. He stands a chance to lengthen his lead and make a statement. Message sending is common in MotoGP, but this would be a huge one. The Italian rider carries a 35-point lead on Jorge Martin and a 36-point cushion on Marco Bezzecchi. While that's not Fabio Quartararo lead territory, this season feels a bit different for some reason.

For one, the Ducati that Bagnaia rides seems to be getting better as the season goes along. TT Circuit Aasen showed us how the Italian could hold the lines, speed, and most importantly the lead. Last year at Silverstone, Bagnaia held off Maverick Vinales and Jack Miller by less than a second. There is little reason to dispute that from happening once again.

MotoGP British Picks Explore A Few More Options?

2023 MotoGP British Picks attempt to explore a few more options. Marc Marquez and Joan Mir are probably out of the picture at this point. Fabio Quartararo likely meets the same fate. There are a handful of riders who can best Bagnaia even in the worst of conditions.

From early statistics, Ducati looks ready to roll for Silverstone. It will be interesting to see what Brad Binder does in the Red Bull though. If conditions are less than ideal, Binder carries a decent shot. That +1400 from MyBookie warrants some further examination. Another rider is obviously Maverick Vinales who finished second last year and was debatably faster than Bagnaia. He made one mistake and it cost him the win. Vinales is also +1400 across the board.

Could Marco Bezzecchi carry the speed from the Sprint to the Race this time? Better yet, can Jorge Martin replicate his German performance? There are choices but Binder as a medium shot is worth a small wager.

Those Longer Shots?

The question gets asked what about those longer shots? Aleix Espargaro looked good at Norway in both races. The Spaniard showed early good form last year but has not this season. Maybe this is a sign of things to come.
