NASCAR Daytona 500 Betting Picks
The final preps for the race were Thursday's twin Duels at Daytona. Joey Logano was the winner of Duel 1, while Chase Elliott captured Duel 2. These races are used to position the drivers on the starting grid.
The drivers will cover 200 laps to complete the 500 miles in this race. The Daytona 500 is divided into three stages of 65, 65, and 70 laps.
Before we take a look at the top contenders and get into the analysis and predictions for this race, check out our how-to bet on NASCAR page.
Ryan Blaney (+1000)
Blaney has four top-10 finishes in the past six Daytona 500 races. He won last year's Coke Zero Sugar 400 on this track in dramatic fashion. Blaney was in 13th place with two laps to race.
Joey Logano (+1000)
Logano won his fourth Duel since 2019. He's the betting favorite to win each of the first two stages of the race. And data shows that over the past three years, no driver has been better on a superspeedway than the guy at the wheel of the No. 22 Ford.
Austin Cindric (+1200)
Cindric won the 2022 Daytona 500. His first NASCAR start was in this race in 2021. Cindric finished 15th.
William Byron (+1200)
Byron looks to make history. He's the two-time defending champion of this race. No driver has ever won three straight Daytona 500 titles.
Chase Elliott (+1400)
Elliott's win in Duel 2 is interesting, to say the least.

He's won the pole in the Daytona 500 three times. But he's never won the race.
Brad Keselowski (+1600)
The veteran driver was only recently cleared to be at the wheel of a race car after breaking his leg in a winter skiing accident. Keselowski has never won the Daytona 500. His only win on this track was in the 2016 Coke Zero Sugar 400.
Kyle Larson (+1600)
The defending Cup Series champion hasn't enjoyed much success in this race. In 23 starts, Larson's best performances were sevenths in 2016 and 2019. He's only cracked the top-10 six times in 23 starts.
Denny Hamlin (+1600)
Hamlin is looking to win his fourth career Daytona 500. This will be his first NASCAR race since the death of his father in the offseason. It could be an emotional day for the driver of the No. 11 Toyota.
Kyle Busch (+1800)
Busch starts on the pole. He's never won the Daytona 500 in 20 attempts.
#RowdyNation we’re leading the field to green for the DAYTONA 500💪🏻 The @RCRracing & @ECRengines folks put in the work this off szn and brought a gnarly @ZonePouches #8 to Daytona. No better way to start off the year!!!💯👊🏻 pic.twitter.com/L9aGZgC5kj
— Kyle Busch (@KyleBusch) February 12, 2026
Busch is also in the midst of a career-worst 93-race winless streak.
Bubba Wallace (+2000)
Wallace won one of the two Duels before last year's race. He tends to do his best work in this race in even-numbered years. He's always at the top of his game when the NASCAR circuit visits superspeedways.
Daytona 500 Longshots Worth Considering
In recent years, Alex Bowman (+2000) has done everything but win this race. He ran sixth in the 2025 Daytona 500 and was second the year before. In 2023, Bowman finished fifth. He started six straight Daytona 500s on the front row between 2018 and 2023.
John Hunter Nemechek (+4500) might not be the first name that comes to mind when seeking a Daytona 500 winner, but to overlook him could prove foolish. Nemechek has run in this race three times. He finished fifth last year, seventh in 2024, and 11th in 2023. So he's trending in the right direction.
You usually get one of two spectacular outcomes when you combine Ricky Stenhouse Jr. (+4000) with Daytona. He won the race in 2023. Last year, he caused a multi-car wreck on Lap 186 and finished 18th.
Best NASCAR Future Bets
If you are thinking about NASCAR futures while the excitement builds for the season-opening race, we've got you covered. Hamlin and Larson are the +500 co-favorites to win the NASCAR Cup Series season title. Larson is the reigning series champion. Hamlin has never won the season title.
Blaney is next in this betting market at +550. He was the 2023 NASCAR Cup Series champion. Byron is also set with a NASCAR betting line of +550 to be the series winner.
Bell (+650), Briscoe (+900), and Elliott (+900) are other drivers given odds shorter than +1000 to be the season champion.
NASCAR Daytona 500 Pick
Wallace and superspeedways have always had a good relationship. He started third on the grid in last year's race. Wallace has twice finished second in the Daytona 500.
He's also showing a second place in the Daytona summer race. One of these years, he's going to win at Daytona. Why not this year? Take Wallace to win in the NASCAR Daytona 500 picks.
